A LEGACY OF SUSTAINABLE DESIGN
Located on the iconic waterfront of Battery Park City, The Solaire was designed to progressive standards by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects. Local sourcing, longevity and sustainability were key objectives in achieving a fully-integrated, environmentally-responsive, and energyconserving design.
The Solaire was the first residential tower in the United States to attain a Gold LEED rating and was subsequently selected as A Top Ten Green Project by the American
Institute of Architects (AIA). The Solaire was also chosen by the United States Department of Energy to represent the nation in the Green Building Challenge — an international conference on sustainable technology. Today, this groundbreaking building is striving for a WELL Certification, which creates healthier environments for the residents living at The Solaire.

A CULINARY DELIGHT
Each kitchen at The Solaire has been thoughtfully appointed with the art of culinary creation in mind. The key to this is considered design allowing for eat-in kitchens, natural materials like millwork cabinetry and stone counter tops, fresh water filtered down to 10 microns, and sustainable appliances with Energy Star ratings - a considered approach to cooking, dining, and storage.
