Architectural Designer
I am an inspiring architect, recently graduated from Pratt Institute in 2024. I am known to be a very enthusiastic, passionate and hardworking designer.
This portfolio is a representation of my recent projects at Pratt Institute and internships. My portfolio showcases my passion for using design to enhance public spaces. As human beings, learning from each other, socializing and interacting with others are essential for our intelligent, mental and physical survival. These social interactions are most of the time, provided and enabled through communal public spaces where people can mingle, interact and socialize with each other. Therefore, it is important that these public spcaes are designed for the public with friendly, welcoming and aestethic architecture.

AAW INTERNSHIP 2
Ahmet Alatas Workshop Internship
Location: Demiroren, Caglayan, Istanbul, Turkey
Date: June-August 2021
In my architectural internship at Ahmet Alatas Workshop, I worked in different architectural projects and was assigned various tasks. I contributed my architectural and interior design skills to the Demiroren-Caglayan and Merzigo Projects in Istanbul, Turkey. I worked on developing 3D models of buildings and structure along with the planning and designing process. For this project, my assignement was to use my interior design perspectives and skills to design a the cafeteria at the ground floor of the residential building that we were working on. In the process of designing the cafeteria space I considered the user experiences and perspectives in order to transform this space into a friendly, welcoming and more luxurious socializing and eating area. During this process, I was able to experiment with different materials and how they occupied, altered and enhanced the space. We wanted the space to have a more earthly and warm sense of ambiance and thus our choice of materials were very organic and natural. The addition of greenery elevated the experience of the space and allowed it to become more welcoming and natural. The open space area was deisgned to serve the guests during good weather and as a place for people to socialize.
