Statement From the President Dated 11th February 2023
Evidence has come to light that communications of a sexist and misogynistic nature were sent to Ceri McDade, the Chief Executive Officer of this organisation.
Having viewed the material I am of the opinion that they are not only extremely offensive, but are also an offence in law.
Since then further evidence has come to light that other offensive communications of a sexual nature were sent to Mrs McDade
These matters are now the subject of a police investigation
Mrs McDade was without due legal process removed from her post by Trustees of this organisation who also made unfounded allegations against her.
This was wrong and the matter is now in the hands of our solicitors who are taking the necessary legal steps to .protect Mrs McDade's position.
As President and founding father of the British Nuclear Tests Veterans’ Association I demand that the four remaining members of the Trustee Board be removed from office with immediate effect
I also demand that Mrs McDade be given free rein to continue her contractual duties managing the day to day affairs of the BNTVA until such time as a competent, properly constituted board of Trustees is appointed
