WHAT DOES HOMECOMING MEAN TO YOU?
Homecoming is that time when we all get out and show our hometown Tiger Pride. We participate in goofy dress ups through the week, we sport our black and gold, businesses fly the Tiger flag all week. For this week, we are ALL Tigers no matter what grade, school, business or organization. Let’s not only go out of our way to support our Tigers through Homecoming Week, let’s do this all year round. Alamogordo is FULL of amazing students who are involved in many different adventures. Let’s remember they need our love and support all through the year! HOMECOMING 2024

Homecoming is a tradition that schools across America have embraced as a way to bring their communities together and display their pride in their hometowns and their schools. It is an opportunity to bring multiple generations together for a celebration of what was, what is, and what will be. Alumni are able to return home and share their stories and memories they made at Alamogordo High School. Our youth are able to create new memories and write their high school story. It’s an opportunity for our alumni to return to their home and reconnect with old friends and teachers while current students are able to establish new friendships that they can hold onto for a lifetime.

Benavidez is the daughter of Liza Gutierrez & Jesus Rodriguez. She is a member of Varsity Tiger Cheer, Tiger Band and Upward Bound. In the future, she wants to be a successful lawyer, not have to worry about the little things, and take care of her family and friends. “What it means to be a Tiger is getting to be a part of a community that goes out of its way to show their care and support to one another no matter what.” Promesa is being escorted tonight by her parents and friends.

JUNIOR PRINCESS Miliana Pena is the daughter of Priscilla Pena, granddaughter of Mary Wolford, niece of Naomi Munoz & cousin to Maya Munoz. In the future, she would like to go to college and pursue a career in radiology. “To me being a Tiger means supporting my fellow classmates and teachers. SENIOR PRINCE Brandon Arrey is the son of Melissa Arrey. He is a member of AHS Tiger Football. Brandon's plans after high school are to get a degree in Engineering or pursue a field in the Military. SENIOR PRINCE Isaiah "Cookie" Venegas is the son of Juan Venegas and Sara Herrera. He is a member of the AHS Varsity Football, Wrestling, and Powerlifting teams. After high school, he plans to pursue a career as an Electrician. "Being a Tiger means being a good role model, having integrity, a good attitude and pushing through any obstacles life throws at you. A Tiger is someone who is strong and a force like no other. Always keeping your head up and your heart thankful to your supporters." SENIOR PRINCESS Daisha Savoy is the daughter of Natalie Ervien & Jarrell Savoy. She is a Cheer Captain, a member of Student Council, Choir, National Honor Society, and is a Golden Scholar. Daisha plans on attending Texas Tech and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. After college, she would like to own her own Real Estate Firm. "Being a Tiger is special. As a Tiger, I have the opportunity of representing a close community. Taking pride in our small town and the memories built in it. As well as pushing yourself to be a good role model for future tigers! Tigers embrace the values of hard work, community, and leadership. Go Tigers!" She is being escorted tonight by her parents.

SENIOR PRINCESS Annaliesa Navarro is daughter of Mr. Rudy and Mrs. Terry Ann Navarro. She is Captain with Varsity Cheer. She is Secretary for the Senior Class & National Honor Society, and a Golden Scholar. Her future plans are to go to NMSU where she will pursue degrees in Space Sciences and Hospitality, and becoming an NMSU Sun Dancer. "Being a Tiger means having pride and love for my community and those around me. A Tiger is known for its courage and determination, and being a leader.
