Fitness Update with Matt

We are back! The Alamance Country Club Fitness Center has resumed normal operating hours under the current guidelines set forth by Gov. Roy Cooper. The Fitness Staff has put a great deal of effort into making sure that your visit to the Fitness Center will be both safe and productive.

By adhering to the following guidelines, we can all get back in shape while practicing social fitness!

All members will be required to sign a COVID-19 waiver. This waiver is located HERE as a PDF. We ask that you bring a signed copy with you upon your first visit. Copies will be available at the Fitness Center as well.

Masks will be required to be worn by all members in all areas of the building at all times Masks will be optional, as recommended by the CDC, while exercising.

We have zoned off all areas of the fitness center to make it easier to practice social distancing.

Only one member will be allowed in each zone at a time.

We ask that you please sanitize all equipment you use when you are through using them.

We kindly ask that all members practice social distancing while in all areas of the Fitness Center.

Locker rooms, bathrooms, and the steam room will be available for member usage.

We kindly request that all members bring their own personal workout towel, shower towel and water bottle.

We have placed additional hand sanitizer pumps throughout the fitness center to ensure member safety.

This Pickleball clinic will focus on advanced technique and strategy. Third-shot-drop, how to hit topspin and use spin, advanced positioning and shot selection. Quick Start Tennis is structured for kids to learn, rally, and play quickly, and in a way that is both enjoyable and rewarding. Tailoring equipment and courts so they are sized appropriately for kids makes the game more accessible - and more fun - by allowing them to get involved right from the start.

JTW - JUNIOR TENNIS WORKOUT | Saturdays| 9:00am - 10:30am | Ages: Middle School

This intense session is open to Middle School (green dot) players looking to have some fun, hit a lot of balls, and improve their tennis game. This is a fast-paced group, so be prepared to work hard and have some fun!! This is a drill clinic with some instruction AND tennis specific training. We will do a light dynamic warm-up, drills, footwork, training and strategy. Fast, footwork, and FUN are all a part of this junior clinic. Cost: $17/Clinic (Minimum of 4 players per clinic)

Membership As you heard in Charlie’s latest video message our initiation fees will increase November 1, 2020.

The Initiation Fees for Young Executive and Full categories will be $10,000.00, and the Initiation Fee for Athletic Memberships will be $8,000.00. So now is the time to encourage those friends, co-workers and family members to join the ACC family.

Remember that if you are a member under the age of 45 and are not currently in the Young Executive category and you bring someone in, you can also change to the dues structure for your age bracket.

For members over the age of 45 that bring in a new member, we are still offering the Passport booklets that have over $1,000.00 worth of vouchers to use around the club.
