Reciprocal Update:
We have received notice from Chapel Hill CC that they are now accepting limited accompanied guest and have extended limited access to our members. Conditions are, temporarily, slightily different than what was originally published those conditions have been updated on our website chart and are listed below. Please read them carefully. We will be the only unaccompanied guests allowed on property and their Board asked that we adhere to these conditions until further notice. We are very fortunate to have this access. Chapel Hill Reciprocity: As Available for 1 Foursome a day | 3 Days in Advance Temporary Access: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday $30, includes cart; Member Charge | ACC Members Only - No Guests Each request must have an email and cell phone for each player (this is to assist in any need to notify visitors per CDC)
All requests will be submitted directly to the Head Golf Professional (per their request) via email from the ACC Professional Staff. **We cannot exceed 1 group per day and requests will be submitted on a first come, first serve basis. Requests will need to be submitted directly to the ACC Golf Shop via phone or in person.
We understand the frustration that may stem from not being able to visit our reciprocal partners during this period. The Professional Staff have been in constant contact with our peers and our partner are committed to letting us know the moment their respective Boards/Committees determine that unaccompanied and/or reciprocal play may resume.
Golf Operations
It is important to remember a couple of things:
• No club is intentionally restricting ACC; clubs are operating under very strict parameters as set by their governance due to COVID. • Per our agreements with these facilities, all communications regarding play must come from ACC Professional Staff (this is to ensure/verify membership and allow for accurate records). Unsolicited requests to these clubs by anyone other than our Professional Staff is breach of this agreement and puts our partner staff in a very difficult and unfavorable position. It also does not assist in expediting our being granted access to clubs who are currently unavailable.
(Reciprocal Update Continued next page)
Golf Pro Shop 336-584-1326 (Reciprocal Update Continued)
We will continue to stay in contact with our reciprocal partners and update the ACC membership with any changes. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact Drake in the Golf Shop at 336-584-1326.
Again, we really appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding during this very odd time. The great news is that we are on target with our course and our most recent architect visit was very positive! Keep thinking of good weather! Guidelines
