LADIES PINK RIBBON MEMBER-GUEST Wednesday, October 14 | 9:00am Call your favorite doubles partner (member or non-member) and play tennis for a worthy cause. Our annual Pink Ribbon event has been a huge success in the past. The event will be flighted (A,B, C)m so all levels are welcome.

Check in and warm-up at 9:00am with round robin play at 9:15am. We will conclude the event with lunch and prizes.

QUICK START TENNIS | Wednesdays | 4:00pm - 5:00pm • Ages : 5 - 8 years Quick Start Tennis is structured for kids to learn, rally, and play quickly, and in a way that is both enjoyable and rewarding. Tailoring equipment and courts so they are sized appropriately for kids makes the game more accessible - and more fun - by allowing them to get involved right from the start.

JTW - JUNIOR TENNIS WORKOUT | Saturdays| 9:00am - 10:30am | Ages: Middle School This intense session is open to Middle School (green dot) players looking to have some fun, hit a lot of balls, and improve their tennis game. This is a fast-paced group, so be prepared to work hard and have some fun!! This is a drill clinic with some instruction AND tennis specific training. We will do a light dynamic warm-up, drills, footwork, training and strategy. Fast, footwork, and FUN are all a part of this junior clinic. Cost: $12/Clinic (Minimum of 4 players per clinic)

Course Project Update Hello ACC Family, I have had several folks ask me about the timeline for our golf course being open for play. As you can see, the TDI crew is still hard at work putting the finishing touches on bunkers and addressing some punch list items. In the coming weeks you will see some opportunities for riding tours of the course become available.

What you will notice on the tour is that while the greens look really nice from the road or parking lot, up close they still have a lot of growing to do. The cooler temperatures have not hurt us, but then again they are not necessarily helping us either. The Golf and Golf Maintenance team have both agreed, and are in keeping with our consultants, that it is simply too early to be able to put a timeline on re-opening. We will be waiting until the first week in November to evaluate the conditions of greens, bunkers, and tee boxes.

Please keep your eyes open for some riding tours with Drake, Peter, or Jeff to show some of the highlights of the project. I know everyone is anxious and ready to get back out there, however please remember that our greens are just infants agronomically and putting too much stress on them could have lasting effects that further delay us being back to “normal” playing conditions.
