Family Gingerbread House Event Saturday, December 5 | 2:00pm ­ 4:00pm Heritage Ballroom Come out and join us for a special Christmas event!

We will be decorating gingerbread houses as a family!

We would love for you to make your reservation, and then on that Saturday gather your family and head to the Heritage Ballroom for an afternoon full of gingerbread decorating, eating Christmas goodies,and having family fun! We encourage you to wear Christmas sweaters or other festive attire if you would like to!

We have put the following safety precautions in place to allow this event to happen which includes: • Each family will have their own table with their gingerbread house and supplies to use for decorating. All tables will be appropriately spaced for social distancing.

• There will be a tray of Christmas cookies on your table for you to enjoy.

• The Hot Chocolate Bar will be served to you from a staff member.

• We will have gloves and hand sanitizer available for your use.

• The space will be cleaned before your arrival.

ACC RACQUET SPORTS FANS ­ We are preparing the top courts for the winter season. Courts 1­3 will be closed once evening temperatures get below 32 degrees for several days. The hard courts will remain open for tennis and pickleball play. With only three courts during the winter season, I ask all members to contact the Pro Shop for court reservations or the ball machine.

Additionally, all clinics and lessons will be weather permitting. Stay safe and we hope to see you on the courts!

If you would like to join us for the Opening, we will have honorary starters hitting the first tee shots from each tee box just after 9am ­ stop by and watch from the Golf Shop porch!!

Assistant Golf There are some limited opportunities for 1­2 players to fill a foursome throughout Professional all 3 days. Please contact the Golf Shop for availability.

Billy Judy If any tee times are still available Friday, any member may call the Golf Shop Golf Operations beginning at 8:30am and request those available times. Again, our maximum round count is 64 players for this Friday, this Saturday, and this Sunday ­ as well as weekend days moving forward.

Weekday tee times (48 rounds total each day Tuesday ­ Friday) moving forward may be reserved, first come first serve, 1 week in advance beginning at 8:30 am. For next Thursday's times, you may call beginning this Wednesday morning of this week (as posted in the last email).

The Golf Shop will not be open Thursday, Nov. 26, (Thanksgiving).

Weekend tee times moving forward (Sat­Sun) will continue to be a lottery until demand dictates and entries will be taken from the Friday one week prior through Sunday. Times will be posted by 5pm the following Tuesday.

Again, please refer to your Playbook for further details or reminders. You will also find information regarding Frost Delays ­ which appear to be on the horizon. During Frost delays we will remain on a double tee system with the starting times immediately moved to 12pm onward.

Groups will be notified by 9am. If for any reason we cannot open due to weather, that decision will be made by 11am.

It has been very busy in the Membership Office the last few months. We have welcomed some really wonderful new members and I hope that we all can take some time to get to know them better. They are all very excited about getting on the course and checking out the new teaching center. Many of these folks were referred by you!

Our ACC Staff has worked extremely hard to plan events that will keep everyone safe. We know this holiday season will look a little different, but come on over when you can. We are always happy to see you.

Take some time to get outside and try some Pickleball, or play tennis, or a round of golf. Our Fitness Center is open and they are taking every precaution to keep you safe and distanced. Our 1946 Grill has some wonderful items on the menu that you will surely want to try!

Be sure to follow our Facebook and Instagram pages. Remember we have two Facebook pages ­ one is a members only (Alamance Country Club Members), and the other is Alamance Country Club. If you are not following us, take a minute to do so. It is a great way for us to market the club!
