QUICK START TENNIS CAMPS | JULY 21-24 Tuesday - Friday | 9:30am - 10:30am Ages : 4 - 8 years old

Quick Start Tennis is structured for kids to learn, rally, and play quickly, and in a way that is both enjoyable and rewarding. Tailoring equipment and courts so they are sized appropriately for kids makes the game more accessible - and more fun - by allowing them to get involved right from the start.

ACC offers three Quick Start programs suited to fit the age and skill of your child.

Cost per child: $50/week or $14 /day

ACC SPORTS ACADEMY | JULY 27-JULY 31 Monday - Friday | 9:00am - 12:00pm Ages : 6 - 12 years old

This camp covers tennis, soccer, basketball, pickleball, fitness and a few other surprises. We also introduce kids to the fundamentals of sport and athletic skills, running, throwing, balance, hand-eye coordination, fitness, and good sportsmanship.

Cost per child: $125 per player

ACC TENNIS ACADEMY | AUGUST 10 - AUGUST 14 Monday - Friday | 9:00am - 11:00am Ages : Middle School & High School

This developmental tennis academy is for players that want to work hard and improve their tennis abilities. Each day will have a fitness component , footwork, specific strategy/drills, and match play.

Golf Update

We would like to thank everyone for their continued attention to club communications. The course project is moving along very well and with the crews and work being completed right now, it is not safe for members to be on the course until further notice. This is for the safety of our members, our kids, our staff, and the construction crew.

We understand everyone's frustration over the last couple of weeks regarding tokens for the Elon Practice Facility. Please note that we are very fortunate that Elon was able to open the facility, as original plans were for it to remain closed for the summer due to COVID 19. The additional tokens we ordered have arrived. We are asking that members come by to get tokens on the day in which they are going to use them and only get the number of tokens needed for that session. This way, tokens will stay in circulation and we won't continue to run out. The machine is emptied once a week (on Thursday afternoon). Again, we really appreciate everyone's patience and understanding!

We are very fortunate to have this option, particularly once the Range Phase of our Course Project begins (we will have this timeline in the coming weeks.) Operating Procedures to Ensure Safety of All Users • Hand sanitizers will be available at the dispenser • A receptacle has been placed near the hitting bays all baskets should be placed in the receptacle after use • All baskets and balls will be properly cleaned and disinfected by staff followed each use • Staff will wear PPE when on shift in areas with patron contact

Reciprocal Availability Update

We have received some wonderful news that the Country Club of Salisbury is now available to our members for reciprocity. The chart has been updated on the website and if you have any questions about using reciprocal play, please contact the Golf Page on the website - YOU MUST BE LOGGED IN as a member to access that information. CLICK HERE *Please Note: Each private club has a specific number of days in advance in which we can arrange times - which is listed for each club on the chart. Please wait until the specified day before calling the ACC Golf Shop to reserve that time. Tee times will be arranged on a firstcome, first serve basis beginning the day those times can be made.

For example: If a club is 3 days in advance, please call on Wednesday for Saturday times.

If a course is closed on Mondays and Monday is the target day in advance, times will not be arranged until that Tuesday.

At this year’s Culinary Camp, we will learn skills in the kitchen and use those to create many different types of food. We will even make our lunches and snacks!

Younger kids can cook, too, and this camp is going to teach them how! We will explore the kitchen, learn new cooking skills and will make many different and yummy dishes, snacks, desserts, and even make our lunch each day!

Jordan is new to our team this summer and we are really excited that she is joining us! Jordan loves hanging out in the pool and playing pool games! Jordan likes spending time at the lake and outdoors.

CAROLINE

Sydney has been a part of our team for almost a year! She enjoys spending her free time shopping and her vacations at the beach. Sydney loves doing crafts and has enjoyed all the special events that the team puts on!

Caroline is a new member to our team and we are so glad to have her! Caroline is a business major at UNCG and will be starting her ďŹ nal year! Caroline loves working with children and has experience at other establishments but has chosen to be apart of our team at ACC!

You may recognize Delilah because she has been a part of our team for almost a year now! Delilah is an amazing artist, she loves to paint and draw! Delilah also enjoys reading and the beach!
