Thank You to Our Members The Staff of Alamance Country Club would like to give our members a sincere ‘THANK YOU’ for your generosity with this year’s Employee Christmas Bonus Fund. Below are some of the ways the employees used their gift: • Several employees stated they filled their cars with gas. • “I have decided to use my Christmas bonus to pay for my lift ticket at Beech Mountain. Thank you for this kind Christmas gift!” • “First ‐ I want to thank the membership for the generous Christmas bonus. I spent it on gifts for my grandchildren and their families. Thank you and Merry Christmas to all.” • “I’m putting mine towards getting my car fixed and painted.” • “We have two vehicles and two trailers that have tags expiring in December, so we used some of the bonus to get the tags renewed and pay related taxes. I used some of it to give our trash man, paper man & postman a year end “Thank You”. What was left went to groceries for a family Christmas get‐together. Thanks again for the bonus.” • “Bills.” • “Helped pay down on having an MRI.” • “Thank you! Bonus helped me pay more on my credit card debt than normal. Merry Christmas!” • “I purchased four ornaments from Ralph Scott Group Homes in honor of my uncle that passed away from COVID. I also made a donation to a teacher at Williams High School that was in a terrible wreck before Thanksgiving and is still in the hospital. I also made a donation to another WHS teacher who lost her mom in a tragic car accident last week. Her daughter was also in the car and is in serious condition in the hospital, and she herself has cancer and is receiving chemo. Thank you for the bonus. It was a JOY to use it in this way.”
