Katie grew up in Burlington and Austin just down the road in Graham. Katie is a teacher’s assistant at Burlington Christian Academy and Austin is a CPA with G. Van Newlin CPA in Graham.

Katie loves being outside, exercising and painting. Austin loves woodworking, and they both love to spend time with their family.

They have two precious children: Mia Grace (7) and Shep (5).

They also have two furry babies, Rosie & Scuttles.

They are looking forward to enjoying the pool and making fun memories with their family.

The player’s tee shot that was selected will ‘Step Aside’ and not hit the next shot. From the selected ball’s position, the other 3 players will hit their shots. This process will continue until the ball is holed. Every player must use a minimum of one drive. Closest to the Pin contests for men and women.

Format: Four­person teams will play a Shamble (pick the best drive and all players will play their own ball in) counting Two Best Balls. Players will receive 70% of their handicap. Gross & Net prizes will be awarded. Play is scheduled from the II tees for men, and from the IV tees for women.

Members may play from the tee in which the majority of his/her most recent scores have been posted. Guests may play a different tee if handicap and similar course distance/ratings can be verified through GHIN, otherwise: Male Guests aged 60 & over may play from the III tees.

Racquet Sports ACC RACQUET SPORTS FANS ­ We have had a tremendous turnout for all tennis, pickleball and junior clinics. We are currently recruiting for our USTA Men’s and Ladies Doubles tennis teams.

Our Men’s team, with captain Sam Turner, will play on Tuesday evenings and our Ladies team will play on Wednesday mornings. Matches will begin in early June. Please contact Scott or Stefan for more information or to sign up.
