Racquet Sports ACC RACQUET SPORTS FANS ­ We have had a tremendous turnout for all tennis, pickleball and junior clinics. We are currently recruiting for our ACC Mixed Doubles tennis team. Matches will begin in early June. Players that are rated 3.4 to 4.0 are encouraged to particpate. This is a 7.0 combo mixed doubles league (combine both player levels to equal 7.0). Matches to be played on Wednesday mornings. Call Scott or Stephan for more information or to sign up.

Pickleball “Dinks & Drinks” • Wednesdays 6:00pm ­ 8:00pm This fun social is for all levels of pickleball players. New to Pickleball? Come out and relax on the courts to learn the basics. Intermediate and advanced players are also welcome to come out and hit some “dinks” and have a drink or two! Pros will group everyone by skill levels and rotate based on results. Janice & Dr. Robbie Woodard Please welcome new members Janice, Robbie, Carter and Charlie.

Janice and Robbie are both from Graham.

Janice attended the NC School of Science and Mathematics, received her Bachelor’s degree from UNC­Wilmington, and then her Master’s at East Carolina University. Robbie graduated from UNC Charlotte and completed Optometry school at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Janice is a Physician’s Assistant with Cone Health, and Robbie is an Optometrist and part­owner of Woodard Eye Care.

Brownies and ice cream sundaes are on the list of favorite foods for Janice, while Robbie loves chicken and pizza. They both love to travel anywhere tropical and enjoy the Caribbean, but Robbie also loves the Rocky Mountains. They both love spending time with their family, water sports and football.

Robbie and Janice have two sweet boys: Carter (2.5 years old) and Charlie (1 month).

They are looking forward to creating fun new memories as a family, meeting new friends, playing golf, and attending social events. Please reach out and give them a warm welcome to ACC.
