Meet your New Chef - Kenneth Jenkins My name is Kenneth Jenkins, and I am joining Alamance Country Club as the New Executive Chef. I have over 30 years of restaurant experience and over 20 years in private clubs. Most recently I was the Executive Chef at The Governors Club in Brentwood, Tn. I was the Chef there for over 7 years. I graduated from Johnson and Wales University with A Culinary Degree at the Vail, Colorado program. I also have a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Tennessee. While in Colorado I worked at Sweet Basil one of the top restaurants in Vail. After graduating Culinary School, I moved back to Tennessee and was the Executive Sous Chef at Richland Country Club in Nashville for thirteen years. The many years of Club and restaurant experience has provided me with a wide range of cuisine knowledge, and I am versed in many different cuisines. I am excited to be a part of the Alamance Country Club team. Joining me in here is my wife Shannon, my daughter Jade and our two dogs. My daugh ter is attending North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston Salem. We are all excited for our new adventure in North Carolina. I look forward to meeting all the members.
