MEMBER spotlight
This week's featured members are the Chasnis Family, who have been part of Alamance Country Club since 2018. Karen is an avid fan of the pool and fitness facilities, while her husband, Dr. Ben Chasnis, actively participates in the tennis program and serves on the Tennis Board. Their children, Kennedy, Reece, and Avril, delight in the pool and swim team while they eagerly engage in the diverse Summer Camp activities.
The Chasnis Family
Before settling in Burlington in 2011, the Chasnis family resided in Winston Salem for a decade. Their discovery of Alamance Country Club happened when Ben attended a work holiday party for Alamance County Physicians at the club. Captivated by the venue, the family decided to explore more about the club, eventually becoming passionate members. Karen offers valuable advice to new members, emphasizing the importance of exploring the club's various services and amenities. She highlights the unexpected joy her family found in activities like the swim team, workout sessions with Matt Sommer in the fitness center, and festive events like the recent youth Christmas party. To the Chasnis family, Alamance Country Club has become a cherished home away from home. Karen reflects on the memorable experiences of 2023, with a particular mention of the Labor Day Pool Party. She appreciates the sense of community as families come together before the start of the busy school schedule. The events organized for all age groups, from the younger generation to the older members, contribute to the club's vibrant and inclusive atmosphere. Expressing gratitude to the Chasnis Family for their membership in our community.
