EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT Jenn Handwerk Clubhouse Reception

Meet Jenn Handwerk, a dedicated employee of the Alamance Country Club team, where she has contributed her skills for the past four years. Originally from Julian, North Carolina, Jenn attended Southeast Guilford High School before pursuing on a career in the corporate restaurant world. However, she soon realized that the corporate lifestyle wasn't the right fit for her.

Her desire to be closer to family, especially her son Wyatt, led her to explore new opportunities.

Jenn's journey brought her to ACC, where she found alignment with the club's values and the skills they were seeking. She obtained the role of Clubhouse Receptionist, assisting with Accounts Payable and Receivable. Jenn's true passion lies in hospitality, as she enjoys connecting with people, fulfilling their needs, and ensuring every member leaves the country club with a smile. She firmly believes in the importance of being personable and patient, emphasizing the value of remembering members' names to make them feel special.

Her dedication extends beyond her professional role; she wants members to feel comfortable reaching out to her whenever needed, trusting her with their information. Outside of work, few might know about Jenn's love for the outdoors, gardening, and growing vegetables. Having this passion since her time in Julian, she fondly recalls helping her grandma plant and cook the vegetables she grew. The diverse options of meat and pasta dishes are among her favorites to create, showcasing her creativity and love for culinary arts. ACC is grateful for Jenn's contributions and positive impact she has made on the club and its members.

How it Works: How it works: Every member family has their name in the tumbler. One name will be drawn at random. The winner MUST BE PRESENT IN THE GRILL OR SADDLECLUB LOUNGE! The gold starts off at $300 in credit.

Each week that the name drawn is not present, the name goes back in and the pot grows by $100 (capped @ $2000). This continues until someone wins and then the pot restarts at $300. So make your reservations, bring your friends, and come out to test your luck!
