Congratulations to Marsha Moran on her Retirement! Thank you for twenty years! Some people are blessed with a heart of commitment and are “all in” with what they do. For the past twenty years Marsha Moran has been a committed and l45oyal member of the ACC team. In just a couple of weeks Marsha will be starting a new chapter where she will be committed to herself and enjoying the fruits of her work. As Marsha gets set for her retirement, please share with me in celebrating and thanking her for her many years at ACC. From answering questions about log-in information, resetting passwords, newsletters, bulletins and artwork, and this past year with COVID, the shift to weekly e-blasts, Marsha has been the woman behind the screen that makes all that happen. We will miss her smile and gentle way of reminding staff to get her the information for newsletters and emails. She will trade that in for telling her husband Ron where they will travel next, gently of course. I have no doubt her two goldens will enjoy the increased playtime and that Marsha’s time in the garden will be relaxing and rewarding. Please say thank you when you see her or as you read this, send an email of thanks. Thank you, Marsha for all that you have done over these many years. On behalf of the of the team, the Board of Directors, and the membership we all wish you nothing but the best!

Updated COVID19 Protocols As you all know by now Governor Cooper announced late last week that his latest executive order has some rather significant changes in it. After looking at the order and our Club the following changes will be in place until further notice. • All staff working inside will continue to be masked. Staff who are working outside are not required to mask but may do so if they choose. • Members and guests who are fully vaccinated may enter Club buildings without wearing a mask. • We ask that members and guests who are not fully vaccinated still wear a mask when entering Club buildings. • We are asking that children participating in camps or youth activities who are over 5 years old follow the same guidelines as adults, including no masks outside. • Normal spacing of furniture and machines will resume in the fitness center and bar areas. The dining room seating area will remain as is. • Banquet areas are able to be booked for the regularly stated capacity in the Catering Guidelines package.
