Welcome TO THE COMMUNICATIONS TEAM
ANTONIO WALTERS Please welcome Antonio to the Communications Team here at ACC! Many of you already know Antonio from his time at the pool and recently serving in our Kid’s Club Department as well. Around the club you will see Antonio using his gift of photography and photographing events for us. His photos are amazing! He will also be focusing on our website, social media, newsletter and some other means of communications. We have some new things we will be sharing soon! Antonio has worked for us for several summers at the pool and we are excited to have him on the team in a more permanent role. He is from Burlington and graduated from Burlington Christian Academy. After high school graduation he received two degrees from Emory and Henry College. His degrees are: Business Administration and Media Communications. He loves to spend time with his parents, going to the movies and traveling to new places. He has a love for children which is apparent when he helps out with our children’s programming. He says it gives him a great energy burst after spending time with our sweet little ones. He enjoys working, wants to work and gives 100% to every task given. Please give Antonio a warm welcome as he embarks on this new role. We are so excited to have him. He will be working with Jennifer Smith, and she is so excited! You will begin to see communications come from a new email: Communications@ alamancecc.net. Please be sure to check your junk mail if you miss a newsletter.

Reservations can be made with Jenn Handwerk. Due to the nature of the event the cancellation deadline is 1 week prior to the game to avoid being charged for tickets. Reservations open November 1st. Enjoy chauffeured premium bus transportation to and from the game, with a bartender! Enjoy drinks and snacks with other members before and after the game. All games are open to all members and their families. We picked dates that might be great family outings near the holidays and open to kids as well. We have 20 tickets available for each of the three games and will be available on a first come first served basis. Click the QR code above to see the view from our seats (Section 129 row WW). The exact times of departure from the Club will be determined closer to the games.

Hello. Learn to play American Mah Jongg the National Mah Jongg League way. In three 3 Hour classes you will learn the basics of the game and be ready to play. Dana Lange has been teaching Mah Jongg over 25 years across North Carolina and around the world. She promises it is the most fun class you have ever taken. It’s a game, it should be.

Meet Andrew Bost, a valued member of Alamance Country Club for the past year and a half. Andrew, along with his wife, Caroline, and four children, Emmilyn, Ruby, Lakely, and Bradford, found their home in the welcoming of ACC's tightknit community. Living in close proximity to the club allows Andrew and his family to indulge in the pleasures of one of the finest golf courses in the area at their convenience.

Andrew shares a piece of advice with new families at the club: "Utilize the club; that's how we've truly embraced and enjoyed our time here." His family actively engages in various activities, from golf evenings for Andrew and his wife to swim team participation, tennis, and special events for the kids. As we approach the festive season, Andrew encourages all members to partake in our Christmas events. It's not just about festivities; it's about forging connections with staff and fellow members, turning your membership into a cherished sense of home. A little-known fact about Andrew is his summer dedication to the swim team, where he contributes by announcing events and maintaining the meet timeline. In the spotlight today is Chelsea Morrow, a committed employee of the Alamance Country Club family for the past two and a half years. Her role in dining services extends beyond serving meals; Chelsea is on a mission to boost member morale and ensure that everyone enjoys their time at the club. Her personality for her work is noticeable, as she approaches each day with determination and a commitment to making members happy and bringing a sense of fun. Initially drawn by a job posting on Indeed for experienced servers, she did not realize it was a unique opportunity at a country club. From that moment, Chelsea fell in love with the charm of the club, location, and access to travel to larger cities. Her advice for newcomers brings light into her own experience: "Just be yourself and realize that the members want to get to know you." Chelsea emphasizes the relationships that develop over time, and she credits two influential figures, Leah and Gary, for guiding her journey at ACC. Chelsea encourages newcomers to seek guidance from them, acknowledging their pivotal contribution to her growth as a server. @alamancecountryclub

How it Works: How it works: Every member family has their name in the tumbler. One name will be drawn at random. The winner MUST BE PRESENT IN THE GRILL OR SADDLECLUB LOUNGE! The gold starts off at $300 in credit. Each week that the name drawn is not present, the name goes back in and the pot grows by $100 (capped @ $2000). This continues until someone wins and then the pot restarts at $300. So make your reservations, bring your friends, and come out to test your luck! We draw every Thursday Night at 7pm! Must be present to win!

Kids just want to have fun, so let them come to Kids’ Club while you enjoy your dinner or event at the Club $20 per child | $30 Guests - Includes Meal MUST MAKE RESERVATION at least 48-hrs in advance for non potty-trained and at least 24-hrs in advance for all other children. If you must cancel, we require a 24-hour notice. Members will be charged 100% of the fee for no-shows or cancelling less than the 24-hour notice unless you fill the slot. Reservations may be made up to one-week in advance only and you must make a dining reservation when making your Kids’ Club reservation. A dining reservation will be required before you can make a Kids' Club reservation.
