ALAMANCE TODAY JULY 22 - JULY 29, 2026

Mid-Year Update Dear ACC Members, As we reach the midpoint of the year, we wanted to take a moment to thank each of you for your continued support and enthusiasm for Alamance Country Club. It has been an exciting and active first half of 2026, and I wanted to share a few highlights, an update of where we stand financially, and what lies ahead. The year has been filled with outstanding member participation across the club. We celebrated record attendance at both our Easter and Mother's Day events, demonstrating how important these family traditions continue to be for our membership. It is always rewarding to see the clubhouse filled with friends and families creating lasting memories together. Golf activity has continued to grow, with rounds played remaining well ahead of previous years continuing on the trend of 10%+ growth annually. The increased use of our golf facilities reflects the vitality of the club, the golf experience delivered by Drake’s team, and the great course conditions that Jeff and his team have maintained in what has been a very challenging year weather wise. Our tennis program has also experienced exciting growth. This season we have expanded our adult USTA offerings by adding new teams, while our junior tennis program continues to flourish with additional teams and increased participation. These developments are a result of Bob’s hard work and dedication along with Stefan’s enthusiasm and engagement of our membership. The pool season is off to a tremendous start as well. The warm weather has brought strong attendance, and it has been wonderful to see so many families enjoying one of the club's most popular amenities. From a financial perspective, the club remains in a solid position. Following the closing of June activity we are currently just slightly behind budget ($68,000), this is primarily attributable to two factors. First, this is our first full year establishing an operating baseline with Pineways open, giving us valuable data as we refine expectations moving forward. Second, our banquet calendar has developed more slowly than anticipated during the first half of the year. We remain encouraged by current member activity and continue to focus on finishing the year strongly.

ALAMANCE TODAY JULY 22 - JULY 29, 2026

Mid-Year Update Continued... Membership growth continues to be one of the club's greatest strengths. We are pleased to report that we have surpassed the 550-member mark and continue to welcome new families who recognize the value and sense of community that make Alamance Country Club so special. Looking ahead, our Board of Directors and committee volunteers have begun the important work of implementing the club's new Strategic Plan. The first major initiative will be the development of a comprehensive Golf Course Master Plan that will serve us leading towards our centennial anniversary. Later this summer, we will begin interviewing golf course architects to help us create a long-term vision for preserving the history of our Don Ross design while enhancing one of our club's greatest assets as our rounds increase and equipment technology changes. This planning process will ensure that future investments in the golf course are thoughtful, strategic, and aligned with the needs of both current and future members while minimizing course closures that are an unfortunate reality with course maintenance. The Long Range Planning Committee and Finance Committee have been working together as we have a refreshed and updated Asset Reserve Study. For those unfamiliar with this study, it is an inventory of all the components we currently own as a club that forecasts replacement dates and costs giving us a financial roadmap to maintain and replace our existing infrastructure components. As we look at the known expenses we have over the next several years these committees are exploring the best option to fund these replacements so we don’t find ourselves facing unfunded repairs or deferred maintenance that negatively impacts your member experience. Thank you for being an important part of our club. Your continued participation, feedback, and support are what make Alamance Country Club such a vibrant and welcoming community. We look forward to an exciting second half of the year and to seeing you and your family enjoying everything the club has to offer. Sincerely, Anil Patel President Alamance Country Club Charlie Nolette, CCM GM/COO Alamance Country Club

Pot of Gold Thursdays

Scott Self missed his chance to win $1,000 in club credit. This week, the pot will increase to $1,100. Be sure to join us for your chance to win! How it Works: Every member has their name in the tumbler. One name will be drawn at random. The winner MUST BE PRESENT IN THE GRILL OR SADDLE CLUB LOUNGE with an open ticket, club events (like wine dinners) count as being present in the clubhouse. Private banquet events do not count as being present, nor does being at Pineways. The gold starts off at $300 in credit. Each week that the name drawn is not present, the name goes back in and the pot grows by $100 (capped @ $2000). This continues until someone wins and then the pot restarts at $300.

We draw every Thursday Night at 7pm! Must be present to win!
