Lamont Maurice Spears Jr, age 37, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 26, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta, GA. He was born December 18, 1985, in Whiteville, North Carolina, to Gayle Freeman and Lamont Spears Sr, but was raised in Atlanta, GA.
He was a 2004 graduate of South Atlanta High School. During his school days, he always had a thriving passion for fashion. This led to him blossoming at Louis Vuitton, and becoming a fashion icon known as the “Louis Vuitton Don.” In addition, he became a successful business entrepreneur. He flourished in real estate, his own clothing line, and several other ventures. He traveled the world visiting many countries and continents such as Africa, Europe, and South America. His favorite places to visit were Paris, London, and Italy. Furthermore, he loved his friends and family. He was very generous and keen on philanthropy. He would give you the shirt off his back and Louis Vuitton slacks if you needed them Because of his old soul and his heart of gold his close friends gave him the name “Granny.” With a beautiful spirit inside and out he will truly be missed and beloved by many.
