Social Events Alpha Chi Omega members have a full schedule of social events in both the fall and the spring with swaps, formals, and date parties such as Carnation Ball, Tacky Christmas, Ski Lodge, Valentine’s Cocktail, and Calypso!
Academics Our chapter has excelled in academics, ranking first among the sororities at the University of Alabama for the past twenty years. We have maintained an average of a 3.5 GPA, and we hold a scholarship banquet each spring to reward our members for excelling academically. We are proud to have recently achieved the titles of Highest All-Sorority GPA and Highest New Member GPA.
Philanthropy Alpha Chi’s philanthropy is domestic violence awareness. Our two annual events include Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, a high-heeled relay race around sorority row benefiting Turning Point, and Tee Off for Tuscaloosa, a charity golf tournament.
