2023 Scholarship Winners

Cullman EC Scholarship

Each year, Cullman Electric Cooperative offers a $1,000 scholarship to a student at each high school in our service area, as well as one to an at-large recipient who does not attend public school in the Cullman EC service territory, but is a member of the co-op. Since the program started in 2000, Cullman EC has provided more than $240,000 to help high school graduates further their education. As a memberowned utility, we consider our scholarship program an investment in the progress of our communities.

Electric Cooperative Foundation

Maddie McKenney from Good Hope High School received a $1,000 scholarship from the Electric Cooperative Foundation. The foundation, created by Alabama’s electric cooperatives in 1997, awards a scholarship to one Cullman EC student every year. Congratulations, Maddie!

Wallace State Future Foundation

Cameron Shedd received the $1,000 Cullman Electric technology scholarship from the Wallace State Future Foundation. The scholarship was created in 2018 to assist students pursing a WSCC degree in applied technology or engineering. Congratulations, Cameron!
