Business Challenge: If we consider an ideal scenario, vehicle management functions fall under Odoo’s Fleet module. But considering their widespread business functions, relying on the fleet module would have been insufficient.

Our Findings: As per the requirement, vehicle welders wanted to manage everything from customer quotation to invoice generation in a single system. To achieve accurate results, it was necessary to list the number of operations they wanted to manage through the system.

Vehicle Repair Service System Modules: Odoo Fleet | Sales | Stock | Accounting Apart from Odoo’s default features, we have customized the fleet module according to business findings and requirements. Here's a list of customizations performed to develop an unbeatable ERP system for vehicle welding service management.

Allow consultants to add images of damaged parts in the repair service, and technicians can highlight damaged parts through image which is editable further.

The system generates a repair service request of damaged parts; the technician can send quotations to the customer for revision.

Once a customer revises the quotation and confirms it, the technician will start the vehicle repairing task.

As soon as the sales order is confirmed for damaged parts, it will be updated in the inventory as well.

Invoice will be charged to the customers based on damaged parts.

The whole repairing task is tracked, and timing would be stored in the system.

Consultants/Customers can analyze repair service completion time and record the efficiency of technicians.
