Business Requirement Move their Offerings on a Flexible E-Commerce Platform It was very clear from their preliminary requirements; the diamond merchant was looking forward to a simple yet customizable E-Commerce platform to enamor a wide-ranging collection of gemstones for the buyers.

The aim behind going digital was to reach out to an audience interested in buying unique diamonds other than the steady jewelry vendors. Another critical factor was that they were not updating the gemstones data types and prices manually from the backend; it was fetched from a third-party API.

Solutions Customized Odoo Website Module to Meet Customer-Centricity Holding onto Diamond Company’s goal to catch audiences’ sight to their allinclusive gemstones collection, we decided to help them with custom Odoo website development.

As of now, they had jewelry vendors who were very well aware of their choices and purchases. But proceeding ahead, they would need to keep an eye on general buyers’ experience.

Implemented custom-made Odoo E-commerce theme along with website base features.

Fetched and stored diamonds in Odoo as products from third-party API using rest web service.

Due to each diamond’s availability on a different size, shape, cut, polish, symmetry, cert, color, carat, and price, we defined product attributes and stored their attribute values.

Allow multiple filter options on the shop to view diamonds of a specific category. Users can choose from available attributes and filter attributes to sort out diamonds of their choice.

Expanded "Sort By" feature to allow users to sort diamonds based on selected categories.

Added search box to immediately fetch details of a specific diamond.

Managed pagination to view more products.

RESULTS 50% increase in-store purchases.
