Brothers, parents, friends, and supporters of the Alpha Kappa Psi Foundation, It is my privilege to share with you the 2025/26 Impact Report on behalf of the Alpha Kappa Psi Foundation. The incredible impact of our organization is a testament to your support and generosity. We had another year of increased growth and participation, including 10 new chapter installations, a 7% increase in collegiate membership, and an amazing 3,800 students engaging with our learning and networking platform Business Edge. The impact illustrated in this report is possible because of you. You provide the crossroads where our students’ potential transforms into our mission and purpose: developing principled business leaders. Your support also continues to fuel our ambitious Legacy Campaign, We are halfway to our fundraising goal and have hosted our Pathways Conference (for new collegiate chapter presidents) for three consecutive years in our renovated Howell+Wendroff Professional Center. Gifts supporting the campaign allow our programs to involve more brothers overall. The progress we’ve made together is truly inspiring. To our donors: thank you for including our students and aspiring leaders in your philanthropic goals. Your gifts make possible life-changing scholarships and innovative leadership programs shaping our members into confident, ethical, and inspirational leaders. DONOR IMPACT IN ACTION Investing in Opportunity, Leading with Purpose For Debbie, supporting the Alpha Kappa Psi Foundation is deeply personal. She knows the power of education because it shaped her own family’s story. Her father left school after the fourth grade to help support his family by picking cotton in rural North Carolina. Her grandmother, by contrast, earned a college degree a time when few women did. She then went on to become a librarian. Though their paths looked very different, they shared one unwavering belief: education creates opportunity. That belief continues to inspire Debbie’s generosity today.

For decades, Debbie has also invested her time and talents as a volunteer, serving as a Case Competition judge, member of the Chair’s Advisory Council, Fraternity Board member, and now Chair of the Case Competition. As an HR leader, she especially enjoys watching Brothers challenge themselves, collaborate, and develop the leadership skills they’ll carry into the workplace. “My experiences with AKPsi helped me build leadership skills, confidence, and relationships that have stayed with me throughout my career,” Debbie reflects. “Being part of such a diverse chapter broadened my perspective and encouraged me to celebrate differences, an experience that continues to shape the work I do today.”
A Commitment That Endures Debbie’s commitment to the Brotherhood extends beyond volunteering. As a longtime monthly donor, she has chosen to make philanthropy a consistent part of her AKPsi journey, providing dependable support that helps students access scholarships, leadership development, and transformational experiences throughout the year. Her generosity reflects a simple but powerful idea: the opportunities we receive become even more meaningful when we create them for someone else. “I hope every Brother discovers not only the professional opportunities, but also the lifelong friendships, confidence, and sense of purpose that AKPsi can provide,” Debbie says. “Donor support helps create those transformative experiences, ensuring that AKPsi remains strong and accessible for generations to come.” Whether through volunteering, annual gifts, or recurring monthly support, Debbie’s story reminds us that the future of the Brotherhood is built by those who choose to invest in it, one student and one opportunity at a time.
