War Horse

The National Theatre’s acclaimed production of War Horse returns to Milton Keynes Theatre in an all-new UK & Ireland tour.

Based on the beloved novel by Michael Morpurgo, War Horse is a powerfully moving and imaginative drama that takes audiences on an extraordinary journey from the fields of rural Devon to the trenches of First World War France.

At its heart are astonishing life-sized horses by South Africa’s Handspring Puppet Company who bring breathing, galloping, charging horses to thrilling life on-stage.

In The Marriage of Figaro, it is supposed to be the happiest day of Figaro and Susanna’s lives but will their wedding go ahead? Get ready for a whirlwind of clever schemes played out against Mozart’s melodic brilliance.

Peter Grimes is a tale of isolation and prejudice. Haunted by rumours and suspicion, a fisherman finds himself grappling with inner demons as the local community turns against him. Britten’s iconic opera comes to life as tragedy unfolds against the ominous backdrop of melodic waves.

Based on the popularity of a performance and ticket availability, prices can change at any point during the show’s on-sale period. Due to the varying nature of our shows and their set design, we cannot guarantee an unrestricted view from all seats at all times. For the most up-to-date information please check online. ATG+ Membership, group ticket prices and any special offers are subject to availability and can change or be withdrawn at any time. Family tickets are for 4 people with a maximum of 2 adults. Children

No children under 3 will be admitted to the venue except where it is specifically stated at the time of booking that the event is suitable for under 3s. Babes in arms (children under 18 months unless otherwise stated at the time of booking and on the ticket) will only be admitted to performances that are specifically aimed for them (pantomimes and shows permitting under 3s only). Where babes in arms are permitted they shall be admitted free of charge. If any other age restrictions apply for a particular performance this will be stated on the relevant production page of our website. Children (ages 18 months to 15 years inclusive) shall require their own ticket which shall be at full ticket price if no child concessions are available at the time of booking. Children (ages 15 years and under) must be supervised at all times. Supervision of children shall be by no less than 1 adult (aged 18 years or over) per 10 children and the supervising adult must sit next to the child/ren. The Management reserves the right to ask parents / supervisors to remove children if, in the opinion of the Management, they are causing a disturbance. Please note that some productions can be loud, if a member of your party is sensitive to this, we would recommend bringing their preferred noise protection.
