Hello there! It brings me great pleasure to be able to share with you news of our fantastic upcoming season of shows here at the Palace & Opera House.

We are delighted to bring you the very best in live entertainment, right here in Manchester city centre. There is so much on offer, from West End musicals to family shows, dance, ballet, live music and comedy – and the pick of two brilliant options for a special Christmas treat, with Wicked returning to Manchester at the Palace, and Jason Manford returning to the Opera House stage in our family pantomime, Cinderella. There’s so much to look forward to – make sure to book ahead now!

Whatever your choice of show, I can guarantee you a warm welcome from our friendly team, and a fantastic range of top quality refreshments from our bars and kiosks including our new cocktails! Make sure to arrive with enough time to enjoy the experience inside our historic theatres.

101 Dalmatians the Musical

The smash hit musical 101 Dalmatians is scampering to Manchester, starring Kym Marsh (Coronation Street, Hear’Say) as the greatest villain of them all, Cruella de Vil.

When fashionista Cruella de Vil plots to swipe all the Dalmatian puppies in town to create her fabulous new fur coat, there’s trouble ahead for Pongo and Perdi and their litter of adorable, tail-wagging young pups.

Dodie Smith’s classic canine caper is brought to life on-stage with spectacular puppetry, showstopping choreography, witty songs and irresistible puppies!

Musical Theatre Masterclasses

Nurture your child’s love of musical theatre! Led by experienced performing arts professionals, each masterclass is crafted to help young performers grow their skills and confidence. Whether they’re dancing, singing, or acting, your child will be challenged and encouraged in a fun, supportive atmosphere. We’re registering interest for our upcoming half-term masterclasses. Relaxed Young Company

A new youth theatre programme for young people on the autism spectrum aged 13 – 18. This activity is led by industry professionals and co-created by our young people taking part. Sessions will develop confidence, foster friendships and develop skills in performance. All abilities are welcome, from beginners up to more experienced performers.

Based on the popularity of a performance and ticket availability, prices can change at any point during the show’s on-sale period. Due to the varying nature of our shows and their set design, we cannot guarantee an unrestricted view from all seats at all times. For the most up-to-date information please check online. ATG+ Membership, group ticket prices and any special offers are subject to availability and can change or be withdrawn at any time. Family tickets are for 4 people with a maximum of 2 adults. Children

No children under 3 will be admitted to the venue except where it is specifically stated at the time of booking that the event is suitable for under 3s. Babes in arms (children under 18 months unless otherwise stated at the time of booking and on the ticket) will only be admitted to performances that are specifically aimed for them (pantomimes and shows permitting under 3s only). Where babes in arms are permitted they shall be admitted free of charge. If any other age restrictions apply for a particular performance this will be stated on the relevant production page of our website. Children (ages 18 months to 15 years inclusive) shall require their own ticket which shall be at full ticket price if no child concessions are available at the time of booking. Children (ages 15 years and under) must be supervised at all times. Supervision of children shall be by not less than 1 adult (aged 18 years or over) per 10 children and the supervising adult must sit next to the child/ren. The Management reserves the right to ask parents / supervisors to remove children if, in the opinion of the Management, they are causing a disturbance. Please note that some productions can be loud, if a member of your party is sensitive to this, we would recommend bringing their preferred noise protection.
