We are proud to open our doors to everybody and make theatre accessible to all. Look out for these symbols throughout this brochure: Audio Described – Live verbal commentary is given through headsets to assist patrons who
are visually impaired. The description doesn’t change the performance for any guests, but fills in the gaps for those who require it.
BSL Interpreted – Trained British Sign Language signers stand to one side of the stage and interpret the script used by the performers at the same time as the actions are being performed.
Captioned – Similar to television subtitles, captions give patrons who are D/deaf, deafened or hard of hearing access to live performances. The actors’ words appear on display units at the side of the stage.
Relaxed Environment – Designed for audiences who may benefit from a less formal atmosphere with slight alterations that do not impact on the content of the show. Adjustments may include keeping house lights on at a low level and leaving auditorium doors open, while the performance itself remains unchanged.
Touch Tour – Touch tour events offer immersive, sensory experiences tailored for blind and visually impaired audiences. These tours provide tactile exploration of stage sets, costumes and props before a performance, enhancing accessibility and connection to the show.
MobileConnect – The MobileConnect system amplifies the performance via your mobile phone or tablet. Audience members connected to the app will hear a live feed of the on-stage performance (with audio description, if attending an Audio Described performance), wherever they are sat in the auditorium. For more information, please visit atgtickets.com/access
Access Hosts – Dedicated members of staff will be on hand to ensure patrons with access requirements have everything they need.

This year’s Senior Youth Theatre staging of We Will Rock You proved the most successful in its history and the Trust congratulates everyone involved.
It broke box office and other records for a Youth Theatre production and attracted glowing media reviews.
A big part of the Trust’s remit is to support ATG INSPIRE at the Liverpool Empire projects and the Youth Theatre is in many ways the flagship showcase for that.
More than half a dozen of the 47 performers, aged 15 – 21, were past recipients of Terry Smith Awards, introduced in honour of our late chairman.
We Will Rock You became available to perform this year and after six months’ hard work under the direction of Natalie Flynn and her team, it all paid off.
One audience member summed it up, saying: ‘We hadn’t realised it was a Youth Theatre production. It was absolutely outstanding –as good as any professional show we’ve seen’
Said Trust Chairman David Morgan: ‘Hats off to the actors and everyone involved in this amazing success. We are proud of you all. And so glad to see the support we provide paying off in such spectacular style.’

Matthew Bourne’s epic reinterpretation of the classic fairy tale places a true wartime romance at its heart. A chance meeting leads to a magical night for Cinderella and her dashing young RAF pilot, together just long enough to fall in love before being torn apart by the horrors of the Blitz.
With Lez Brotherston’s glorious Olivier Award-winning designs, lighting by Olivier Award-winner Neil Austin, and video and projection designs by Duncan McLean, Cinderella also features sensational sound design by Paul Groothuis, transporting audiences into the heart of Prokofiev’s magnificent score and the sights and sounds of war-torn London.
Cinderella is both a tribute to and a testament to the indomitable spirit of London during a time when every second counted and lives were changed forever. Ages 8+

So begins the international multi award-winning musical, Chicago.

Set amidst the razzle-dazzle decadence of the 1920s, Chicago is the story of Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago’s slickest criminal lawyer to transform her malicious crime into a barrage of sensational headlines, the likes of which might just as easily be ripped from today’s tabloids.

Sixteen: the edge of possibility. Time to make your dreams come true. Everybody’s Talking About Jamie returns for the 10th Anniversary Tour with a brand new song.

After a record-breaking three-year West End residency, two sold-out UK & Ireland tours and an Amazon Studios award-winning film, the critically-acclaimed musical is back.
Jamie New (Ashcon Rahmani) is sixteen and lives on a council estate in Sheffield. Jamie doesn’t quite fit in. Jamie is terrified about the future. Jamie is going to be a sensation. Supported by his brilliant, loving mum (Rebecca Trehearn) and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies and steps into the spotlight. This ‘funny, outrageous, touching’ (The Daily Telegraph) musical sensation is to be experienced by all the family and not to be missed!
With an original score that will ‘blow the roof off the theatre’ (The Mail on Sunday) by lead singer-songwriter of The Feeling, Dan Gillespie Sells and writer Tom MacRae (Doctor Who), this ‘sparkling coming-of-age musical’ (The Times) will have everybody talking about Jamie for years to come. Rambert’s new dance work It’s a Sin is inspired by the acclaimed series by Russell T Davies, directed and choreographed by Artistic Director Benoit Swan Pouffer.
Joy as resistance. Love as survival.

In the heart of 80s London, Ritchie, Roscoe, Colin and Jill are chasing identity, connection and a life on their own terms. When day spills into night, they find a world of abandon, music and friendship, where bodies move freely and life feels limitless. But as the AIDS crisis begins to unfold, their lives are irrevocably changed. Love, fear and defiance collide as they fight for each other in a world that is rapidly shifting around them – and increasingly hostile to their existence.
Brought to life by Rambert’s extraordinary dancers, It’s a Sin weaves past and present into something raw, visceral and devastating – an epic story told through movement, asking who gets remembered, who gets left behind, and how we choose to live now. Ages 15+
Presented by Rambert and Factory International. Co-produced with Wales Millennium Centre (Cardiff), Capital Theatres (Edinburgh), Sadler’s Wells (London) and Les Théâtres de la Ville (Luxembourg).
