Welcome to BRISTOL HIPPODROME
Two things I really want to focus on for my April brochure and the year ahead; one is savings and benefits led and the other is to enhance your experience while here.
Firstly, the ATG+ Membership. I’m sometimes asked why would I pay for the opportunity to buy tickets I was already buying anyway? Well, because you’ll save money! For example, a membership costs from £50, with savings including 50% and £10 off opening night tickets you can see this initial investment can be quickly recouped. Add to that bar discounts, FREE Priority Access, which includes a programme when applicable, priority on sales, and you’ll see this membership could be your best decision this year!
I’m really interested to discover who is our biggest saver, so look out on our social media channels for a great chance to become my guest here this year!
My other passion alongside our great shows is witnessing our audiences having the best time. If you’ve not done so, please try our Delivered At Seat service allowing you to sit back and relax, or maybe an Ambassador Lounge Experience. Or join us for the Happiest Hour in town where you buy one and get the second on us!
You know you’re going to see a great show, so make your visit extra special by adding something truly memorable to your visit.
I look forward to welcoming you here at the Hippodrome throughout 2025!

SIMPLY THE BEST!
Tina – The Tina Turner Musical continues its box office record-breaking run in Bristol.
While fans from across the globe mourned the death of Tina Turner in May 2023, her incredible music and the legend of her life story survives.
Tina – The Tina Turner Musical isn’t a tribute show, it’s a dazzling West End production dedicated to the life of a musical icon. And what a life she had! From humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee to her meteoric rise as a Queen of rock ‘n’ roll, winning twelve Grammy Awards. The show is a dedication to her achievements and her enduring, much-loved music and artistry.
While her life was one of struggles and triumphs, poverty and plenty, tragedy and passion, this spectacular production paints a unique portrait of Tina as a woman and as an artist, showcasing her playbook of iconic hits over more than half a century. Set to a pulsepounding soundtrack, including The Best, What’s Love Got To Do With It, Private Dancer and River Deep, Mountain High, the musical captures the essence of a woman who dared to dream fiercely, shatter barriers and defy the bounds of age, gender and race to conquer the world against all odds.
The role of Tina is shared between Elle Ma-Kinga N’Zuzi whose credits include Starlight Express, Moulin Rouge and Cats to name just a few, and Jochebel Ohene MacCarthy who played the role in the original Australian production to audiences in Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne. David King-Yombo plays Ike Turner, Martin Allanson is record producer Phil Spector, and William Beckerleg portrays record company marketing manager, Erwin Bach.
Tina – The Tina Turner Musical has played in the West End at the Aldwych Theatre for over seven years following its world premiere, receiving critical acclaim and breaking all box office records at the venue. The production is also a global success, with ten productions having opened worldwide since 2018, including on Broadway and across North America, Germany, Spain, Netherlands and Australia. So, we’re delighted to bring this much-loved production to Bristol audiences and look forward to welcoming existing Tina fans and introducing her phenomenal music and achievements to a new generation of theatre lovers.
