Accessibility

We are proud to open our doors to everybody and make theatre accessible to all. Look out for these symbols throughout this brochure:

Audio Described – Live verbal commentary is given through headsets to assist patrons who are visually impaired. The description doesn’t change the performance for any guests, but fills in the gaps for those who require it.

BSL Interpreted – Trained British Sign Language signers stand to one side of the stage and interpret the script used by the performers at the same time as the actions are being performed.

Captioned – Similar to television subtitles, captions give patrons who are D/deaf, deafened or hard of hearing access to live performances. The actors’ words appear on display units at the side of the stage.

Relaxed – Offer a range of adaptions to both the theatre environment and the production itself. These may include reduced sound levels, removal of certain special effects and allow free movement in and out of the auditorium.

Touch Tour – Touch tour events offer immersive, sensory experiences tailored for blind and visually impaired audiences. These tours provide tactile exploration of stage sets, costumes and props before a performance, enhancing accessibility and connection to the show.

MobileConnect – The MobileConnect system amplifies the performance via your mobile phone or tablet. Audience members connected to the app will hear a live feed of the on-stage performance (with audio description, if attending an Audio Described performance), wherever they are sat in the auditorium. For more information, please visit atgtickets.com/access

Access Hosts – Dedicated members of staff will be on hand to ensure patrons with access requirements have everything they need.

THE GREAT BRITISH MURDER MYSTERY

Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap

Since 1952, Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap has captivated millions of audience members. Now, the record-breaking production embarks on its 75th Anniversary Tour across the UK and Ireland.

A shocking murder rattles London. Far from the chaos, a remote country guesthouse welcomes seven strangers seeking refuge. But when a police sergeant battles through a deadly snowstorm with a warning no one expects, it becomes clear the threat is already within their walls.

Every whisper hides a clue. Every story masks a lie. And as suspicion tightens its grip, one question chills the room: Who among them is capable of murder?

Step inside The Alex and solve the greatest murder mystery that has kept the world guessing for generations.

Burlesque The Musical

After taking the West End by storm – where it became summer 2025’s biggest hit, selling out night after night – Burlesque, a big new musical, is coming to Birmingham in October.

WRITTEN

BY STEVEN ANTIN

10/06/2026 17:16

The UK tour stars Faye Brookes (Coronation Street) as Tess Richarde, alongside Ryan Carter (Titanique) playing Sean and Ms Loretta. Recent graduate Gracie O’Brien makes her professional stage debut in the role of Ali Rose, supported by Davide Fienauri (Kiss of the Spider Woman) as Vince, Tyler Davis (Sunset Blvd) playing Jackson and Vanessa Ela Young (The Drifters Girl) as Nikki

From executive producer Christina Aguilera and written by Steven Antin, based on the hit movie, Burlesque is a scintillating journey of self-discovery that absolutely sizzles, featuring powerhouse songs by Christina Aguilera, Sia and Diane Warren, alongside new numbers from Todrick Hall and Jess Folley. Paranormal Activity

The sell out West End and international phenomenon, direct from London with brand new special effects.

08/06/2026 10:18

James and Lou move from Chicago to London to escape their past, but they soon discover that places aren’t haunted, people are...

Inspired by the iconic, terrifying film series, Paranormal Activity is a new story live on-stage.

Now embarking on its first ever UK and Ireland tour after a sell out, extended run in London, this chilling production promises to keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Hold your nerve…

We advise caution for audience members under 15.

‘A night that leaves you spellbound. Jaw-clenchingly, arm-clutchingly thrilling.’ – The Guardian

‘A chilling evening: a cracking ghost story so skilfully delivered that it might follow you home.’

Financial Times

Jersey Boys

The boys are back as the original Tony® Award-winning sensation returns for its 20th Anniversary Tour!

Go behind the music and inside the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons in the true-life musical phenomenon, Jersey Boys. From the streets of New Jersey to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, this is the musical that’s too good to be true.

They were just four guys from Jersey, until they sang their very first note. They had a sound nobody had ever heard… and the radio just couldn’t get enough of. But while their harmonies were perfect on-stage, off-stage it was a very different story – a story that has made them an international sensation all over again. The show features all their hits including Sherry, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Beggin’, December 1963 (Oh, What a Night!) and more.

Jersey Boys may be inappropriate for children ages 12 and under. Flashing strobe lights, loud gunfire, theatrical haze, herbal cigarette smoke and authentic, profane New Jersey vocabulary are used in this production.

THE MUSI CAL by Ir vine Welsh

Direct from the West End

Trainspotting The Musical

Direct from the West End.

Thirty years on from the film that changed everything, Trainspotting The Musical has its world premiere.

Written by Irvine Welsh with music & lyrics by Stephen McGuinness & Irvine Welsh and directed & developed by Caroline Jay Ranger.

Renton, Sick Boy, Begbie, Spud, Tommy and Kelly, the industrial drug-crazed, working-class heroes, are back.

This isn’t nostalgia, it’s closer than that. The past isn’t revisited – it lingers. The musical doesn’t tidy it. It sits with it.

Listens to it. And lets it sing. New songs, classic songs, a musical like never before. Not for the easily confronted.

Ages 15+. Contains scenes and depictions of drug-taking and death. Includes swearing and adult references.

‘I believe the musical has a bigger, loudly beating human heart than either the book or the film. People need to think about the world we’re living in, and we offer that inspection, but they also really need to sing their hearts out and laugh their heads off.’ – Irvine Welsh, April 2026

Directed and developed by Caroline Jay Ranger. Music & lyrics by Stephen McGuinness & Irvine Welsh
