Ahoy panto lovers! The Further Adventures of Peter Pan: The Return of Captain Hook is setting sail for Aylesbury this Christmas! AN
As we start to reach the end of another fantastic year at the Waterside Theatre, we take a peek at what the new year has in store.
Calamity Jane will lasso us into 2025 with the brand new national tour launching in Aylesbury. Starring Carrie Hope Fletcher, this production will be a definite highlight in our calendar; grab your tickets early.
And with the theatrical sensations of Blood Brothers, Birdsong, and Hairspray The Musical all snapping at the heels quickly after, the spring has a stellar lineup. A great comedy offering including Chris McCausland, Jason Manford, Ed Byrne, Paddy McGuinness and Paul Chowdhry will mean chuckle muscles will be well exercised in the new year.
But as the winter nights draw in and Santa revises his naughty and nice list, I ponder whether it is possible for Andy Collins to be on both? No doubt he will be swashbuckling his way through The Further Adventures of Peter Pan, ably supported by stage and screen rising star Bradley Riches, and TV soap star Mark Moraghan.
As always, we will be fundraising throughout the panto season. This year, we ask you to dig deep for the Aylesbury Food Bank and Autism Early Support charities. Both do vital work in our community and were handpicked by the theatre team to champion this Christmas.
We look forward to welcoming you to the theatre soon.
Grant Brisland, Theatre Director
