Syracuse, NY - In September, Iota Upsilon Chapter at Syracuse University had SkeeWeek Following the target initiative “Enhance our Environment”, the chapter worked with Syracuse University to plant trees in Pete’s Giving Garden Members and participants planted more than 10 trees The three types of trees planted should start blooming next year Pete’s Giving Garden helps combat food insecurity in the school’s campus community

OMEGA XI OMEGA – HOSTS MAKING A GLASS TERRARIUM PARTY!

New Haven, MI – On Friday, February 24, 2023, Omega Xi Omega held a “Making a Glass Terrarium” party hosted by the Enhance Our Environment and Strengthen Our Sisterhood Committees This virtual event showed sorors how to create a beautiful glass terrarium in a delicate way by containing a small piece of nature to enjoy inside Each soror was guided through the process of constructing her very own terrarium using a succulent plant and styling it with their individual touch Sorors played musical games, won prizes, and enjoyed laughs with their OXO sorors while creating pieces to enhance their home environment

Gardening Series Wednesday

Toledo, OH - Zeta Alpha Omega hosts a Gardening Series Wednesdays. On February 22, 2023, Enhance Our Environment committee hosted an interactive workshop, Sow and Grow: Container Gardening with Felicia Dunston who introduced, enhanced knowledge, and engaged participants by providing tips on starting their own community gardens.

Soror Felicia explained what Companion Gardening is and shared its multiple benefits. Sow and Grow: Container Gardening is the first of several programs this season that the Enhance Our Environment committee will host in their gardening series The committee will host the second event in their gardening series; Do The Rot Thing: Composting 101 on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
