Soror Carrie J. Clark professionally serves as the Director of Operations, which is comprised of IT Project Management Office (PMO), IT Service Management Applications, and IT Service Management Business Relationship, for the nationally recognized Henry Ford Health System (HFHS), located in Detroit. She has a staff of professional Project/Construction Managers, Analysts, and Developers. Since 1995 she has served as an Adjunct Professor at local universities, teaching in Information Technology, Quality Assurance, and Project Management.
Over the years, Soror Carrie’s leadership has been very instrumental in helping develop several valueadded departments, corporate-wide processes, and training programs. She has received numerous awards, including the 2021 Distinguished Alumni Award and the DRIVEN award, and the PMO of the Year Finalist Award. Soror Carrie has achieved BA and MSA degrees and is currently working on her second Master of Science in Health Administration. Soror Carrie is highly credentialed, with various professional certifications including Certified Project Manager from Xavier University, ITIL Foundations Certification, and a Scrum Master Certification from George Washington University.
Soror Carrie was initiated in Xi Chapter at Eastern Michigan University in 1987. She is a proud life member and a “Silver Star”. After graduation, Soror Carrie transitioned her sorority membership to Lambda Pi Omega Chapter in Detroit, Michigan, where she continues to serve. She held many leadership positions within the sorority. Local chapter leadership roles include serving as President, Vice President, Historian, Member Liaison, Publicity Chairman, and Parliamentarian. On the regional level, she served on the Centennial Committee, Program Committee, and the 2003 Michigan Cluster Chairman and the General Chairman of the 81st Great Lakes Regional Conference in 2012. Soror Carrie served on the Heritage Committee, International Membership Committee, Undergraduate Transition Taskforce, and International Investigations Committee on the international level. During the Excellence Administration, Soror Carrie has been appointed to Chairman the Code of Ethics Committee, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and serves as a member liaison on the Sanctions Committee and Investigations Committee.
Soror Carrie is a member of Second Ebenezer Church (Detroit), Project Management Institute (Great Lakes Chapter), American Red Heart Association – Go Red Passion Committee, Jack and Jill of America Associate, and a former board member for the Youth Development Commission (YDC). She is very blessed and thankful to have the support of her beautiful family; husband, Mark of 26 years of marriage, and two handsome sons (Ian Marc Clark and Noah Stone Clark).
