WELCOME TO EPSILON CHI OMEGA! EXCELLENCE. COMITEMENT. ONENESS. Dear Sorors, I am delighted to welcome you to our chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Epsilon Chi Omega (ECO). Excellence, Commitment and Oneness is our chapter’s motto. We strive for Excellence in our targets, community service, chapter activities and in how we conduct ourselves as Alpha Kappa Alpha women. Commitment to our pledge to be of “Service to All Mankind” and to respect and adhere to the Soror Code of Ethics. We believe in Oneness in our Fellowship, which is sincere and rare, where there is no other like our sisterhood!

We are happy to have you join us as we continue to uphold the courageous vision of Ethel Hedgeman Lyle, the unflinching determination of Nellie Quander, as well as the shared purpose of other like-minded women to blaze a trail where none existed. Because of their vision and efforts, we have stood up for equality and justice for 113 years; yet there is more work to be done!

It will be hard work, unending work, often uncertain work, but we must continue to do the work! We must be of Service to all Mankind because this is what our Founders intended for us to do! Get engaged in chapter activities, be present, participate, share the three T’s which are your “Time, Talent and Treasure”. Most importantly get to know your sorority sisters!
