JumpStart offers students a chance to experience the campus, meet peers, learn routines, and build an understanding of what school will be like. American International School Chennai (AISC) offers a 10-day camp in the month of July, which includes extracurricular activities, academic games, and a basic introduction to adjusting to AISC. Jumpstart is for any new KG to Grade 8 student. This program is staffed by AISC teachers, teaching assistants, and Arts, Sports and Activities (ASA) instructors. Enrollment is free of cost to all participants.

This program is optional; we expect students to attend all sessions if signed up.

Jumpstart activities are organised in multi-age groups of students and structured around a variety of classroom and co-curricular activities. Students get an opportunity to meet and make new friends, experience the school setting, and interact with other students and staff.
