Recognition in High School
Courage and Confidence
Recognition for Courage and Confidence goes to students who are willing to challenge themselves both inside and outside of the classroom. These students are open to new ideas and move into the unknown. These students take risks, are resilient and advocate for what they believe in.
Creativity
Recognition for Creativity goes to students who use their knowledge, imagination and inquiry to produce new insights, products or solutions. These students are inspired to explore and expand boundaries both inside and outside of the classroom.
Compassion
Recognition for Compassion goes to students who actively care for others and the world around them, showing initiative, independence and responsibility in improving the lives of others. These students celebrate uniqueness and diversity while giving support or voice to those who are voiceless.
International Mindedness
Recognition for International Mindedness goes to students who respect and value others while demonstrating a strong understanding of their own cultural identity. These students actively seek to learn about local, national and global issues, show empathy for all and care for the world.
