GREEN MILES

Green Miles is Air Chathams newly launched frequent flyer programme. By signing up and booking your flights online through your account, you’ll earn Green Miles every time you fly. Over 1,100 people have already signed up and collectively earnt over a thousand miles which they’ve been able to redeem for free flights.

There are four tiers in the programme, and each tier accumulates miles at a higher rate. The higher up the programme you are, the faster you’ll accumulate miles which you can redeem for free travel.

BRONZE: ENTRY LEVEL TIER

SILVER: 20 COMPLETED FLIGHTS OR 500 EARNED MILES

GOLD: 50 COMPLETED FLIGHTS OR 1500 EARNED MILES

PLATINUM: 100 COMPLETED FLIGHTS OR 3000 EARNED MILES

All flights and ticket classes are eligible to earn Green Miles, including our cheapest ‘Thrifty’ fares. The higher the value of the fare purchased the more miles you earn. Simple!

Create your personal account for free via our website. Once signed up, logging into your customer profile online allows you to view your current number of miles accumulated, and book directly on to flights paying with cash or miles. The number of miles for redemption is based on the distance in nautical miles between airports. For example, if you accumulate 120 miles then you can fly for free from Auckland to Whakatāne Airport.

Another exciting development within the Green Miles programme is our renewed commitment to sustainability. We are already holders of a Qualmark Silver Sustainable Tourism Award and registered members of the Tourism Industry Aotearoa’s Sustainability Commitment. We use compostable products where possible sourced from New Zealand owned companies and our waste is separated to ensure compostable products can be treated and reused in an incredibly short time period.

We’re not satisfied with just the above and we’re looking to create positive impacts on the land for the next generation. We’re supporters of the Chatham Island Taiko Trust and will be working with our Chatham Island partners about the recent government announcements relating to One Billion Tree programmes and how we can assist that work.

We’ve launched a webpage with all the details on the Green Miles Frequent Flyer Programme. Head along to our website, and click on Green Miles under Travel Info. From here, you’ll be able to sign up to the programme or login to your account if you’re already a member. When you’re logged in, you’re able to book and redeem flights using your Green Miles.
