THE AIM BOARD OF TRUSTEES & COREY HELLER AND RACHEL ROTHBARD HELLER Pā30
AIM GALA CO-CHAIRS

PAT ROBERTS & NANCY BLAIR

On behalf of the board, faculty, families and especially the students of AIM, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to our 2022 AIM for the Stars Gala. We are thrilled to be together again for the first time in three years to celebrate AIM. We also extend a special welcome to our outstanding honorees for this evening, Power Home Remodeling co-CEO Asher Raphael and The Haverford Trust Company.
This school year has seen the return of student travel, robust athletic events and additions to our innovative curriculum and STEAM learning spaces. Each spring we marvel at the accomplishments of our students as our seniors hear from colleges and make decisions about their next steps after AIM. We enjoy watching our 395 students (including a graduating class of 37) discover their passions and become confident leaders and learners who are ready for the future.
Our AIM Institute team has also experienced a surge in interest and commitment to teacher and education leader training in the science of reading. Our AIM Pathways training courses are approved professional development in more than 20 states and we recently announced a partnership to create a custom course for the state of North Dakota to provide all educators there with free access to important literacy training to help all students in the state.
This yearās AIM Institute for Learning & Research Leadership Award goes to an organization that has been a critical supporter of AIM since its inception. The Haverford Trust company has enjoyed a long partnership with AIM and both founder George Connell and Vice President & Portfolio Manager Patrick Hoyer, who will accept the award this evening, have been stewards on our AIM board.
AIM Academyās Sally L. Smith Founderās Award has focused his work on the growth and development of people. Asher Raphaelās work is fueled by his personal experience with dyslexia and he firmly believes that work ethic, drive and character trump titles and degrees. He worked his way up from an entry-level sales representative to co-CEO growing Power Home Remodeling into the nationās largest and highest-rated exterior home remodeler.
To tonightās guests who are already part of our AIM community, we thank you for your support. To those of you who are just being introduced to AIM, we invite you to join with us as we continue to make a signiļ¬cant difference in the lives of students and educators throughout this region and forge partnerships to be sure we are fearless and future ready.
Enjoy the evening and again, thank you for all you have done to make it a success.

Co-CEO Power Home Remodeling

Asher Raphael, Co-CEO of Power Home Remodeling, began his career at Power as an entry-level sales representative. He and Co-CEO, Corey Schiller, quickly grew through the company ranks and were instrumental in the organizationās transformation from a small local business to the nationās largest and highest-rated exterior home remodeler.
Asherās leadership philosophy is rooted in his passion for the growth and development of people. Fueled by his personal experience with dyslexia, he leads from the belief that work ethic, drive, and character trump titles and degrees. This mindset, coupled with a commitment to putting people and purpose over profit, has led Power to be named #1 Workplace for Millennials and #1 Workplace for Camaraderie by Fortune Magazine and Inc. Magazineās Top 50 Best Workplaces in America. Recently, Asher was featured on the Wall Street Journalās Future of Work panel for Powerās people-first approach to handling the COVID crisis. His lifeās mission is, and always will be, to inspire people to become the best versions of themselves.
At the AIM for the Stars 2022 Gala, Asher will receive the Sally L. Smith Founderās Award. This award honors leaders whoāve overcome learning challenges in their lives and through their success, leadership, and spirit, make significant contributions to enhance education opportunities for children who learn differently.

Since its founding in 1979, The Haverford Trust Company has valued working with purpose and creating measurable impact in the nonprofit community. Haverford's culture can best be epitomized by our unwavering dedication to client service and to helping our nonprofit clients work towards their mission. The Haverford Trust Company is one of the premier wealth management firms in the greater Philadelphia region, with over $14 billion in assets under management or consultation, and a commitment to help individual, family, and institutional clients achieve their financial goals.
Haverford and AIM have enjoyed a long, prosperous partnership together since the organizationās establishment in 2006. The founder of Haverford Trust, George W. Connell, and Vice President & Portfolio Manager, Patrick Hoyer, played an influential role in AIMās development, by creating a custom investment plan to promote the growth and sustainability of the academy. Haverford Trust became one of the organizationās earliest supporters as George and Pat joined the Board of Directors. Since then, Haverford has donated nearly a quarter-million dollars to advance AIMās mission. By managing the endowment today, Mike Maxwell, Vice President & Portfolio Manager at Haverford Trust, continues to help AIM Academy to set their students up for a lifetime of success. He says, āWe are honored to work with AIM Academy and are supportive of their dedication to academic excellence and the belief that each studentās strengths should be encouraged to flourish.ā
