EXPRESSING OUR GRATITUDE
It’s a Great Time to be a Crusader! The 20242025 school year brought about significant opportunities and numerous blessings for St. Dominic High School. Through the generous support of our benefactors, prayer warriors, and dedicated faculty and staff, our St. Dominic community continues to grow and thrive.
To start the school year, we completed a significant expansion of the stadium parking lot to better meet the needs of our students. This initiative eliminated our reliance on neighboring businesses for student parking, ensuring all our students can park safely on campus. The project also included a new main entrance to Crusader Stadium and a new women’s restroom, with the existing restroom being renovated into a men’s-only facility.
We barely caught our breath before Homecoming and all of the fall festivities were upon us. In October we broke ground on our brand new Baseball/ Softball stadium, which is among the finest high school stadiums in the Midwest. Once construction began on the stadium, St. Dominic took on the single largest educational endeavor in our school’s history adding a Building Trades program into our everyday curriculum.
To support this, we acquired a 28,000-square-foot warehouse adjacent to our campus through the incredible generosity of one family. By spring, renovations were underway to prepare the space for our Building Trades classes, and the project was completed in time for the start of the school year.
Thanks to the generous support of our benefactors, our students continue to thrive in all areas of their lives: spiritually, academically, socially, athletically, and artistically. At St. Dominic, we are blessed to be a community where parents partner with us to provide a well-rounded formation for our students. It truly is a community that deeply invests in our own.

Order of Christian Initiation of Adults at St. Dominic
The 2024-2025 school year was the second year St. Dominic offered the OCIA program (formerly RCIA) to students and faculty on campus. In one year, the number of students that participated in the program more than doubled, up from nine students during the 2023-2024 school year to 21 students this year. The students, along with one faculty member who participated in the program, were fully received into the Church during the final all-school Mass of the year. At this Easter Mass, all candidates received the Sacraments of Initiation into the Catholic Church. St. Dominic was blessed to have Fr. Patrick Russell receive faculties to celebrate these Baptisms, First Communions, Confirmations and receptions.

70 students participated in St. Dominic’s Spring Musical: Mary Poppins, performing to sold-out crowds for three out of four performances!
2025 MISSION TRIPS
In May 2025, 12 students and 4 faculty experienced the fourth mission trip to McAllen, Texas to serve those in need at the border through La Posada Provedencia.
St. Dominic returned to Chinandega, Nicaragua for our third international mission trip this past June 2025, working alongside Amigos for Christ. This trip brought a record-breaking 30 students and 5 faculty.
9 Students were selected for all-district choir.
3 students were selected for Missouri All-State Choir.
11 students received a gold medal at the district music festival.
4 students received a gold medal at the state music festival.
