It’s honored for me to welcome you in our last Internal Newsletter. The last chapter of 2019 term already come, we pass 12 months of experience in this entity. Ups and downs that we faced during our operational help us to become a good leader from our team and ourselves and of course to make our entity became better than before. Here, a brief flashback of what we’ve done for the past year. Thank you for becoming the strongest people of 2019. Let’s take a look at how we grow as a person each day. Happy Reading Leaders!

held
the
Committee
Executive Board election in the year of 2019. The event was held to see the readiness and level of confidence of Executive Board candidates to lead the Incoming
Global
Volunteer
department in term 2020. As the previous election event, there
was
a
question
and
answer session between the members of AIESEC in UMM as delegates and the Executive Board candidates themselves.
After that, the event continued to the voting session conducted by full member Aiesec in UMM.
Quarterly Review x Manager Master Class This event aims to know the progress of our entity by reporting the summary of job realizations over the past three months, including target reviews, strategies to achieve targets, and constraints from each department. This becomes important because each member has to know other department's progress to synchronize the energy and mind as one unit to continue the next process. There is something interesting about this quarter's review. Held on November 24, 2019, at the ballpark of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang, this event was held with a theme that had never been used before, which is sports and outbound activities, in which members of AIESEC in UMM jogging in the afternoon and do other outdoor activities. This quarterly review was also held the Manager Master class. This Manager Master Class is an agenda in which there will be information about the structure and persona description needed for the 2020 management board.
Dream School 9.0 Realization and Farewell Dream School 9.0 is a social project organized by AIESEC in UMM to support and play an active role in sustainable development goals number 4, which is about quality education. Done by providing human resources (exchange participants as a volunteer) to teach in schools. this project has been held nine times by AIESEC in UMM. On November 14, 2019, the Dream School 9.0 project began and ended on November 19, 2019.
There were two foreign students who volunteered for projects implemented at MTS Muhammadiyah 1 and MTS Wachid Hasyim 1, the two students were M Gamal Abdelraouf Ibrahim from Egypt, and Mouna Mounir from Tunisia. November 21, 2019, all organizing committees and volunteers in this project finally held an event which was a farewell party as a project closing. Taking place at 7Seven Chicken, the event was filled with activities such as reviewing projects that had been carried out previously, and there were sessions where exchange participants were given directions to fill out project surveys and complete provisions to be able to take project certificates. In this event, also held to exchange experiences, stories, and others. There is also a roll dance which is the most fun activity to do for AIESECer.
Virtual Legislation Meeting
The Virtual Legislation Meeting was
an agenda aimed at changing some of the existing regulations in the Local Compendium AIESEC in UMM to adapt to current conditions and needs. This agenda was held
on
November 25, 2019, and was held
virtually. For all member please be aware

Incoming Preparation Seminar
eQual+ 1.0 December 13, 2019, Incoming Global Volunteer for the eQual + 1 project has been held in AIESEC in UMM. Incoming Preparation Seminar itself is an activity where Exchange Participants who come to Indonesia will be provided with provisions in the form of basic information about the technical implementation of the project, and additional information about Indonesia, Malang, and others. This activity becomes a must in the process of realization of social projects in the AIESEC organization because it is one of the sixteen Exchange standards that exist.
The eQual +1 is a social project that supports SDG's number 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth. The project was held in collaboration with one of the organizations named Trash Hero Tumapel, where they had handmade products made from organic materials was named Ecobook. The volunteers contribute to supporting SDGs number 8 through helping in the online or traditional marketing process to increase the level of sales of the product.

Outgoing Preparation Seminar Winter 2019 Outgoing Preparations Seminar is a seminar mandatory agenda that must be followed by all students who want to go exchange through Global Volunteer. This seminar was also held to equip Exchange Participants regarding what information and conditions must be known before realizations time. Held on 21 December 2019, this event was held at Villa Tabita, Batu. The theme of this event is designed so that everyone feels "winter session" in the plenary. In this event, a game session is made different from the previous events, because it makes the plenary atmosphere feel warmer and more familiar to everyone.
There are different things in this Outgoing Preparations Seminar, the Exchange Participants directly released officially by the rector of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang represented by Drs. Soeparto, M.Pd. as Assistant Rector of International Accreditation at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Also, there is Yudi Soeharsono, S.Psi., M.Si as Head of Student Affairs and our beloved Board of Advisor, Dian Caesaria Widyasari, S.Psi., M.Sc. This release was used as a forum to advise the exchange participants by the ViceChancellor, the Board of Advisors and the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. One of their messages is to always look for useful experience and knowledge to bring back to Indonesia.
Ngalam Youth Conference 3.0 Ngalam Youth Conference 3.0 is a local conference held by AIESEC in UMM from 13 to 15 December 2019, with the aim of involving all members to find out whether the essence of this organization has been successfully achieved and connecting it with the personal goals of each member. The convening of this conference is also a form of agenda aimed at guiding all members to align their AIESEC journey in 2019 and the next journey to be carried out in 2020. This is done by recalling what organizational progress has been achieved and has not been achieved in 2019 so that can be a reference for managing future strategies. At this conference, some alumni shared their experiences while they were at AIESEC in UMM, and also shared what knowledge and abilities they gained while at AIESEC in UMM that were useful for their current work world.

GENERAL TRANSITION EXECUTIVE BOARD AIESEC in UMM 2019 T0 2020
From 3 to 4 January 2020, AIESEC in UMM held an agenda called the General Transition Executive Board in Villa Balecia, Batu. This agenda guided by the current Executive Board to the elected Executive Board. The General Transition has the aim of providing knowledge to the elected Executive Board on how to carry out the
mandate as an Executive Board which is the highest position in AIESEC. Conducted for two days, this event was filled with debriefing sessions about AIESEC behavior, data-savvy, operational mastery, understanding the role of an Executive Board, and various other materials that can support the Executive Board to be successful in continuing the legacy.
HANDOVER
A handover is a formal event that is held officially for holders of positions in an organization to officially hand over their position to other members who will become holders of positions in the next term. On January 11, 2020, AIESEC at UMM held the 2019 Handover ceremony. Helded at 2nd floor Hall of Fachruddin Mosque University of Muhammadiyah Malang, the event was attended by the Advisory Board and other stakeholders. As a thank, AIESEC at UMM also gave certificates of recognition to the stakeholders who played an active role in the success of AIESEC at UMM in carrying out various agendas during 2019.

Dream School 10.0
Dream School 10.0 is a project supporting SDGs number 4 about quality education. This project is focusing to teach English to junior high school because in Mlang, because there are still inequality in each local area. We have goal to make all area can have equal quality education especially in English. Dream School Project 10.0 will focus on students of SD Muhammadiyah 4 Malang, this activity will begin on January 11, 2020-23 February 2020. The purpose of this activity is to help and broaden the insight of elementary school students about countries outside Indonesia, increasing innovation in activities teaching elementary students through the exchange of ideas with foreign students, and developing the personality of UMM students and foreign students through social activities.
To prepare everything in order to achieve well what is the desire of all. Before starting the project, an Incoming Preparation Seminar is held. etc. this activity will notify and introduce what things need to be known by Excange Participant, namely about the project activities, who are the people involved with the project, also how the environment around the place where they will have to adapt, and things that may be done and recommended not to do.
In addition to teaching at SD Muhammadiyah 4 Malang, foreign students are also invited to participate in the Turun Tangan Malang community. Dismissing Turun Tangan Malang is a social movement engaged in education, culture, environment and others. Hand down scattered in various regions of Indonesia, one of which is Malang. This Hand Down has a program called Sinau Room, and on this occasion AIESEC UMM collaborated to teach at the Rumah Kakek Aboe. Not only teaching, foreign students are also invited to take part in extracurricular activities at SMAN 7 Malang, this is useful for introducing the local culture of Malang to foreign students who take part in this social project. These extracurricular activities include dances, musical instruments and batik. Besides learning the local culture of Malang, foreign students are also invited to tour around tourist areas, such as the Badut Temple, Coban Talun, Colorful Villages
BoA Dinner and Farewell Friday, 31st January 2020 at The Arbanat Kitchen CafĂŠ and Lounge
Dinner with Mrs. Dian Caesaria Widyasari, S.Psi., M.Sc. at the end of the 2019 management period this time as well as a farewell event between the core management of AIESEC in UMM 2019 with the supervisor. This farewell agenda includes dinner together, sharing messages and impressions, remembering each other good memories in 2019 during activities on campus and various other interesting stories, taking pictures together to give each other gifts. This agenda was also carried out to maintain mutual friendship between the members of AIESEC in UMM represented by the core board and the coach who had contributed a lot to help his mind and energy for the progress of this organization to become even better.
