PREFACE
Welcome to my world~
Faiz Nur Rendra Safira Local Committe Vice President Incoming Global Volunteer 22.23 Hey Archipelago, I hope you are doing well. We were working hard these past months on making sure we had a plenty of successful events. I, as the representative of the LC, appreciate each and every one of you for this matter. Your constant hard work and dedication, either it brings good or bad result, I hope everyone find the deeper purpose behind it. Never stop even if you always feel at wrong. Even the best event is bound to have one mistake. After learning from early year until late November, you have got more than one trick up your sleeve for dealing with that mistake, but most of the time, all it takes is being a good leader for yourself, just as our PAI said before. "What we missed was not created for us & what was created for us will not be missed, so be assured." Let's break our leg again, because somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.
Archies Journey Remarkable Six Months 4.0 Remarkable Six Months is an event that AIESEC in UMM conduct once every 6 months. The Purpose of this event is to review our LC activity in the last 6 months and to make a report about our action step for the next 6 months. This event was hold for 2 days long and we called some alumnae to become speaker for the event. DAY 1 In our first day we focused on talking about AIESEC in UMM ambitions and review LC last 6 months activities. And Rayan Afif as our alumnae first speaker talked about how we as individual define our own future. DAY 2 Our second day agenda, one of them was to discuss about how can we contribute for the next semester and learn deeper about our role as AIESEC in UMM member. We also had two alumnae as our speakers, there are Ade Irma Yolanda and Alafson Firdaus. Which they were talking related to self awareness, how can we master ourself and know our surrounding better as a team.
Congrats for all the chosen LCEB! EB election or known as Executive Board Election is an event that conducted once every term, this election was meant to elect our new candidate for our next LCP and LCVP in the next term. The first election was to look new individual who suitable becoming our next LCP, the EB election is something that must be attended by all the members. Until the whole event finished, it is decided that Raka as our new LCP in the next term. And we also conducted our second EB election which to find our new LCVP which we already made a final decision that Ilham as LCVP FGL, Rika as LCVP of EwA/oGV Network, and Shabiq as LCVP of TM.
EB ELECTION 22/23 RSM 4.0
ARCHIE ACADEMY ARCHIE Academy is a mentorship program to enhance specific skills with EB related. This program will help Mentee to deal with concerns about the skills Mentee has. The groups distribution are based on Mentee concerns that they attached on the engagement survey of Q1 and TM Visit. The mentees are divided into several groups with different topics. The topics among others are Project Planning & Leadership, Marketing & Strategical Planning/Thinking, Communication & Partnership, People Management & Data Analytics, Financial, Administration & Data Analytics.
INTERNAL AUDIT On September AIESEC in UMM to had internal audit with AIESEC Indonesia which the audit held virtually and delivered for all each department. The objective of internal audit was to assess and make an evaluation for our first semester activities, and all this assessment was to make sure the LC running well according to AIESEC’s system. The auditor will check all the data and any other kind of provement and make sure the data is completely fulfilled.
PROJECT CLOSING AIESEC UMM has officially finished all Projects on the last fmanage to achieve our target to conduct all the projects, start from the earlt July to August, we conduct ALoha Project with different focus, there are Down to Earth, Dreamschool Project and Equal. And before that we also manage to conduct the Youth Virtual Project with Malaysia and Srilanka with the spesific topic related to their country issues. We are appreciate to all participant and member who already contribute in those project. Can't wait to see next journey!
JAYT PREPARATION Join AIESEC is one of the AIESEC programs to provide opportunities for active students of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang to become new members of AIESEC in UMM which aims to improve the leadership abilities of young people by involving themselves in every AIESEC activity. #JoinAIESEC in UMM is open on October 11 to October 31, 2021. There are more than 200+ candidates who will later go through several stages of selection like LGD ( Leaderless Group Discussion) and interview. but in the middle of the selection process, there is an event called Youth Today with theme “ Define yourself : Start Your LEADership Journey with AIESEC “ After going through several stages of the selection process at #JoinAIESEC in UMM, finally we got 50+ selected candidates who will process together at AIESEC. “ For JA applicant, whatever the result is, I hope you can take it as learning in your every single step when you do the selection process. I trust you guys are the great people because you still want to give the opportunity for yourself to create a better version of yourself. Good luckfor you all!! “ -Rika, OCP Join AIESEC in UMM 2021
COMING SOON PROJECT!
Impact Circle will conduct for the fourth time on December 2021, with a focus on SDGs No. 3 Mental Health and Well-being with the theme "Creating Your Space: Connect with yourself, Connect with productivity #LeadsInnerGrowth. This event will invite expert speakers in the field of mental health such as psychologists and mental health activists so that young people know about mental health from various perspectives. Awesome!
The next Youth Virtual Project will take focus with SDGs 5: Gender Equality! The Program aim to raise awareness about gender equality and get to know more about the condition of this issue in another country. YVP also allows you to spread impact and develop yourself through virtual cross cultural exchange. Everyone is Equal!
Now Aloha became Local Project with focus to enable young people in Indonesia to experience volunteering program virtually to develop their leadership skill and increasing the awareness of SDGs to the society. Spread the wings iGV!
