AIESEC in Mexico & The SDGs Sustainable Development Goals, are a universal set of goals, targets and indicators that UN member states will be expected to use to frame their agendas and political policies over the next 15 years. These goals aim to achieve three extraordinary things in the next 15 years: end extreme poverty, fight inequality and justice, and fix climate change. With “Viva Mexico” as our main hub for incoming internships, AIESEC in Mexico aims to align what we do around what Mexico really needs and what it needs is to know The Global Goals, but more importantly, understand how they can contribute for the development of a better country for the fulfillment of our vision as Organization. Through our incoming exchange, our mission is to develop relevant projects and activities that impact and directly contribute to The Global Goals.

VIVAMÉXICO Viva México In order for AIESEC in Mexico to contribute towards building a better country, we recognized the importance of aligning our Incoming Global Volunteer projects to The Global Goals of the UN. Viva Mexico is the celebration of the best we’ve got, in this case focusing on our social projects. ‘Por México’ is the concept we developed to address the needs and issues within Mexico, with each specific project addressing one Global Goal. We aim to provide tangible solutions and actions towards these issues. Through our projects, we strive to empower youth, communities and government to act with a sense of urgency in building a better Mexico. @VivaMxAIESEC

DESCRIPTION Ensure an inclusive education, that strives for equality and quality and promotes the concept that learning is a lifelong experience, by directing the students to alternative opportunities.

TRAZOS aim is achieve a unique creative education in Mexico, that reaches everyone, regardless the age, with the same care and quality.

The individual search for knowledge and personal development is the core of what TRAZOS is all about, so that each person that is impacted by the project can develop their academic background, their technical and artistic strengths for a social and professional development.

DESCRIPTION Strengthening the means of execution of a World Alliance for the Sustainable Development Social entrepreneurship is growing disruptively in Mexico taking a big relevance in the country.

Zocalo aims to propel small organizations whose objective is making a positive impact in the world, through technical support, innovation and strategic partnerships, so that these can reach their own goals of sustainable development for Mexico.

DESCRIPTION Reducing inequalities between countries Mexico is acting for the reduction of inequalities through this project in which cross-cultural tolerance and comprehension, moral values and human rights become the cornerstone of reaching out to people of all ages. We do this by triggering the interest and knowledge in people in order to guide their actions as responsible citizens.
