Volunteers are the heart and core of Aid for Women! We would not impact the lives of so many at our centers and homes without the generous support of our volunteers. No matter what your time or talent, we have a volunteer position to fit. Many volunteer opportunities are available for individuals and groups at our centers and maternity homes.
PREGNANCY CARE CENTERS Front Desk Greeters Welcome clients and their guests who visit our centers. Assist staff with the client intake process and with providing support services.
BrightCourse Instructors Provide guidance and support to clients who are participating in the BrightCourse program. Volunteer instructors meet one-onone with clients on a regular basis to help them gain valuable knowledge about pregnancy, childbirth, parenting and life skills, while the clients earn new baby items along the way!
Medical Services Volunteers Volunteer nurses and sonographers assist our medical staff by providing pregnancy testing, ultrasound exams and life-affirming options.
Support Group Volunteers Assist with the planning and hosting of our Moms-to-Be and New Moms Support Groups.
Father Support Volunteers Men of all ages serve as positive role models providing emotional, practical and spiritual support to the fathers of the babies.
Client Christmas Party Volunteers Assist with the planning and hosting of our annual Client Christmas Party, our most important event of the year!
MATERNITY HOMES Vitae Corps Volunteers Live and work in community at our maternity homes to help provide our residents and their children with safe and nurturing homes.
Life Skills Volunteers Provide mentoring to residents on topics such as health, nutrition, exercise, baby care, parenting, job search, financial planning, music, art, spiritual growth and more.
Helping Hands Volunteers Assist staff with administrative tasks, transportation of supplies and household maintenance projects.
Group Service Opportunities Volunteer service group opportunities are available for all ages – a wonderful opportunity for families, church, school and work groups to support our life-saving mission.
OTHER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES Chapel Volunteers and Prayer Intercessors Assist with Mass preparation and chapel upkeep. Commit to praying for mothers, babies, staff, volunteers and for the success of our programs.
Event Committee Volunteers Join an event committee and share your time and talents to support the success of our events, which provide essential fundraising for our programs.
Administrative/Development Volunteers Help our office staff with administrative tasks, mailings, parish outreach efforts, fundraiser follow-up and the Baby Bottle Campaign.
Community Outreach Promote awareness of Aid for Women’s mission and client services to your church, school, organization or workplace.
