Inside the room of my heart, I find marigolds swimming In a lake of joy. You'll find trumpeting elephants Covered in gold. You'll find cherry blossoms Tickling the clouds, Laughing with the stars. In the room of my hands I find warm smiles, And a chocolate sun. You’ll find nails, and hammers, But pillows and blankets. Inside the room of my words You’ll find white burning stars, Mango kisses, Sleeping infants. In the room of my head, You’ll find thunder And silence. Artists and Writers Emilie Mutoniwabo I'm a Junior currently in Art 3 and usually I like to work with paints, but for this project our class focused on print making so I got to carve into a linoleum block to make a design! I tried to make a pattern that could be stamped into a book at a whimsical library, and I'm fond of the way that it looks on various types of paper.
Chayse Jones I'm not a profound writer or anything, I just thought it would be great to use a given platform to share my voice.
Mya Douglas I am a Junior who loves film, music, and enjoys writing poetry. I aspire to be an author and love taking time to indulge in my passion.
Winta Abraham I love photography and I enjoy taking photos of nature.
Laura Norman Laura Norman is a senior in high school who likes to draw and paint for fun.
