Junior Interior Design Intern IA Interior Architects

May 2023 - August 2023

Worked as a Junior Designer on an NDA workplace project. Responsibilities included finish floor plans, furniture floor plans, finish schedule, Revit assistance, material boards, office graphics, presentations to client, and a PRO BONO project.

Fall Semester 2022

About Me Born and raised in the Bay Area, California, I was surrounded by the stunning architecture of San Francisco, the Silicon Valley, and the coast. My passion for design started at a young age when I started collecting samples of wood, tile, and paint to create my own materials library. After high school, I continued my education at Iowa State University, a top ranked CIDA Certified design program. Through residential, retail, education, healthcare, hospitality, exhibition, and workplace design projects done through the design program, I expanded my design knowledge and grew a passion for commercial design. I am eager to continue my design career post-graduation and to see what the design world has in-store for me.

Parks Library Renovation 2

The renovation of Iowa State University’s Parks Library displays the idea of being connected, yet separate, through the division of different spaces. There are connections between human and environment, as well as human and human. Individuals are connected to their surroundings through a variety of individual and collaborative zones.

Spring 2023

Research A survey was sent out to Iowa State students in regards to different environmental factors of the campus’s library. Results of the survey were then used to renovate the space to better accommodate the students’ needs. Location Preferences

This mini-home is tailored to suit the lifestyle of a young professional couple. The space utilizes the coastal view to bring in light with floor to ceiling windows to create an open atmosphere. The access to nature brings health and wellness to the users. Natural colors and materials are used to blend the interior with the surrounding landscape.

Space Saving Design Choices To provide more space, the loft has a Murphy bed that can be folded away, turning the room into an office. Storage is found under the stairs with hidden hinge cabinets. To make the bathroom more spacious, the shower is angled in the corner to open up floor space. For energy efficiency, the roof is comprised of solar panels to power the house with the ample sun.

Burberry Shop-In-Shop 4

This Shop-In-Shop is designed for the luxury brand Burberry. The space represents the timelessness of the brand, as well as emphasizing their classy and lavish product lines. This Burberry store features classic elements of precedent stores, along with an updated color palette and materiality to welcome in a younger audience. By integrating new and traditional design elements, the shop-in-shop creates a modern space to display the iconic Burberry brand. Fall 2022

Custom Features

This glass feature partition is inspired by the new Burberry monogram. By re-imagining the colorful monogram as a monotone pattern, the glass element becomes a transparent window in the store.

This wooden square tile flooring has zinc inlays to mirror the zinc used throughout the store and display elements.

Furniture Design 5

In need of a custom table for a wall display in my house, I designed and crafted this table. Made out of solid walnut, it was important to show off the woods’ natural grain and beauty. The table is topped with a herringbone tile pattern and a surrounding boarder. In this six week long project, I practiced different millwork techniques and tile laying.

Design Features Custom made table for residential space. 60” x 15” Solid walnut Wooden drawer slides Tapered legs Waterfall drawer faces Tile custom cut to size
