AI BUILD INFRA DEFINE THE CONTROLS
How will the app behave? Review normal operation and failures. Ask for concrete examples rather than broad promises such as secure, seamless or scalable.
04 Integrations and data List connected systems, exchanged fields and the owner of each record. Define transfer direction, timing, authentication and access responsibilities. Agree retry handling, duplicate prevention, monitoring and failure recovery. Define migration scope, cleanup ownership and reconciliation evidence.
05 Access, security and privacy Document who can view, create, edit, approve, delete and export records. Specify account recovery, sensitive-data handling and audit requirements. Assign responsibility for security updates, backups and restore testing. Agree applicable security checks and the evidence required for acceptance.
06 Testing and acceptance Define acceptance criteria for each important workflow. Include functional, integration, permission and error-handling checks. Agree relevant performance, accessibility and compatibility testing. Test interrupted connections, repeated submissions and regression risks.

AI BUILD INFRA DEFINE THE AGREEMENT
Who owns delivery and support? Compare proposals against the same requirements. Record unresolved items before committing to a schedule or final price.
07 Milestones and change control Require reviewable outputs: approved scope, prototype and working features. Define acceptance reviews, defect handling and sign-off responsibilities. Explain how new requests affect price, scope and delivery dates.
08 Ownership and handover Confirm agreed rights to code, design files, documentation and business data. Document control of repositories, hosting, domains and app-store accounts. Identify external licences, restrictions and recurring subscriptions. Require access handover, deployment instructions and data-export procedures.
09 Launch, maintenance and client inputs Define launch checks, distribution responsibilities and recovery procedures. Specify defect-support duration, exclusions, response targets and escalation. Assign monitoring, dependency updates and ongoing operational ownership. List client inputs: access, content, sample data, test users and reviews. Separate one-time costs from recurring costs; document payment milestones.

AI BUILD INFRA MAKE THE DECISION
Are you ready to approve? Use the final review to establish whether the scope is understood and the application can be accepted against clear evidence.
10 Five final approval questions Can we explain what the first release will accomplish for its users? Do we understand what is excluded and what assumptions remain? Can we test the promised behaviour against written acceptance criteria? Do we understand ownership, handover and recurring operating costs? Is someone responsible for operating and maintaining the app after launch?
