Welcome to Filter Magazine! For the third year of Filter, Mr. Stanyard and I wanted to do something a little different. We wanted to give students a chance to make pages designed by themselves. We wanted to keep the original Filter idea but add a little bit more of each students individuality. We wanted all students, in all classes of photography, to be given a chance to input their art this winter. We hope you enjoy this issue of the Filter Magazine!

Lillian Wilson Student Editor - Anderson High School Winter in Ohio is often thought of as cold, gray, and even miserable. On the contrary, it provides an opportunity for exploration, discovery, and time to make art. This issue of “Filter” showcases allof the students’ hard work as fall gave way to winter. This issue has photos of autumn, winter’s first snowfall, still lifes, as well as people and places around Cincinnati. It is a quick exploration into the lives of Anderson High School students, and the world captured through the lens of the camera.
