LETTERS FROM THE EDITORS Personally, I’m not a fan of winter. It always feels like the longest season but with the least amount of sunshine. So with this issue of Filter I wanted to bring lots of color and brightness to try and push away that winter feeling. This issue has so much creativity and bold photography decisions , from neon colors to waterfalls. Hopefully these photos from artists ar Anderson can bring some light into your winter!

This issue of Filter showcases a variety of student work being created in Anderson High School’s art classes ranging from introductory level photography to Advanced Placement studio work. The students have been getting outside to shoot photographs and create work despite the unpredictability of Cincinnati’s winter months. Their work is as wide ranging as their individual interests, and reflects their diverse personalities. It is always rewarding to see a student develop their own artistic vision and begin expressing their ever-changing ideas through their art. I hope you enjoy it!
