Financing: Apply for funds from the Bangladesh Bank Disaster Management and Corporate Social Responsibility Fund, to pay for embankment improvements and developing a sponge.

Take advantage of the National Delta plan, and the international interest in addressing flooding.

Actors Involved: The municipality will reach out for funding from the Bangladesh Central Bank. the Bangladesh Water Development board and international partners will provide additional funding and construction support.

Inclusivity: Include women in the planning process of the embankment, and public space. Provide well lit, and accessible public park with ramps, benches, and toilets.Accommodate existing small businesses that already use the space.
