Officers in attendance were President Brynn Bibee, Vice President Gracie Fenton, Secretary Kelsi Riddle, Treasurer Jordyn Cantrell, Reporter Lucki Greenwood, and Sentinel Jaylee Reid.

The annual COLT Conference was held for all 436 FFA chapters in Oklahoma. Each area has its COLT Conference. Stigler is located in the southeastern area and attended the conference with the other 81 schools in the area.

Stigler FFA was recognized during the conference for being a 3 Star State Chapter and awarded a $2,500 grant.

“The recognition of being a 3 Star State Chapter and receiving the grant is a great accomplishment for the Stigler FFA Chapter,” said Cody Dawson, Stigler FFA Advisor and Agricultural Education Teacher.

To earn a 3 Star State Superior Chapter, the FFA chapter must be an active chapter with a Program of Activities, compete in Career Development Events, Leadership Development Events, and perform community service projects.

The chapter was also awarded the 2021 PSO After School STEM Grant Award. Stigler FFA was selected based on a grant application entitled Laser-Focused Learning. The grant will be used to purchase a laser engraver that will demonstrate STEMbased learning by integrating technical skills with innovative technology.

The primary aim of the Stigler FFA Chapter is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success.
