Ag Valley Awards $500 Scholarships to NCTA Students Ag Valley Cooperative awarded $500 scholarships to Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) students who are second year members. Sophomores who received the scholarship will be able to use the funds for educational expenses to further their education. Students who received the scholarships include Nolan Buss, Codi LaBorde, Gavin Tremblay, and Garrett Thielen.

From the CEO, Jeff Krejdl We continue to watch the grain and fertilizer markets with much interest. Drought, natural gas prices, supply chain disruptions, the war in Ukraine, and a host of other factors have created more volatility in these markets than at any other time I can remember. While this market environment is challenging, it is precisely why Ag Valley Cooperative and the cooperative system exist. We are an extension of your farming operation and have invested in assets that bring value to your operations. We will have the products and services available for you in uncertain times, assuming the risk in these volatile market situations. That allows you to concentrate on managing and operating your farms. We are proud to be your partner in production agriculture. As harvest gets going, I would again ask that you please check the traps on your grain trailers. If they need maintenance or be rebuilt, please consider getting that done. Traps may open fine when the hopper is empty, but it may be tough to open when that trap gets a load on it. We have had several injuries to our employees attributable to traps that had not been adequately maintained. Our employees are our most important asset. If they are injured and cannot perform their duties, our ability to provide you the quality service you desire and deserve becomes compromised. I appreciate your help! We will be serving lunches for you and your harvest crews at our locations over the next couple of weeks. We will have sack lunches available at the scales for your truck drivers to take back to the fields. I hope you will accept those lunches as a token of our thanks and appreciation for your business. Please watch our website and social media sites for the schedule. As I finish up, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your business and your support of Ag Valley Co-op. The employees of Ag Valley Co-op all know that without you, we would not exist, and we are incredibly thankful that you allow us to be part of your operation. We try hard every day to bring value to you and your family farm. Your success is our success, and we will continue to focus on things that help make you successful.
